The Rogue Horsemen Defend The Titles; Demand More Competition
In the opening match of tonight’s event, the SWWS World Tag Team Champions The Rogue Horsemen continued their nearly one year reign as they defeated the local team of Rodrigo & Son. Zack Rhodes and Kevin Reznor continued to push their path to being the most dominant team in history by making short work of their competition. The victory came over Rodrigo at 8:24, leading to Chris Slayton to make a statement regarding T3.
“These guys have run over everybody. I’m seeing The Vilaro Legion back there, Pacific Phenoms, The Yu Brothers, The COBRA Battalion. A lot of guys back there, but they don’t seem to want to face us. I’m asking for SOMEBODY to try and take these titles from Rhodes and Reznor.”
The Drawing for Team Romero vs. Team Kash Announced!!
Our newest member of the SWWS Team, Luci Summers is on the stage with Dilan Valentine and Suzie Skellington. They are joined, at a distance, by SWWS Paramount Champion Kasey Kash and “The Technical Masterpiece” Silas Romero. Suzie handed over envelopes to Summers, allowing the new Correspondent to announce Team Kash first.
Team Kash will have..
Kasey Kash
Chantay Lavoie of The Conglomerate
Ignacia
Frankie Fontaine
And Jerk The Synonymous
Team Romero will have..
Silas Romero
Kain Reyes of the Rogue Horsemen
Jake Smith & Justin Shane
And Veronica Taylor of The Conglomerate
Romero didn’t look happy with his team while Kash nodded at the chance to team up with Frankie Fontaine in this contest. Backstage, we see Veronica Taylor and Chantay Lavoie, horrified that they will be on opposing sides at The Crucible.
Gavin Paine Returns; Hints At A Benefactor
The newly re-signed Gavin Paine made a statement tonight as he went one on one with Jimmy Johnson. The once fun loving youngster showcased a more aggressive side of him by cheapshotting Johnson on multiple occasions. Johnson fought back with what he could, even landing the Kanga-Roo, but the Johnny B. Good didn’t hit its mark. Paine took advantage of Johnson’s mistake by delivering a savage Uranage Slam for the pinfall victory. After his victory, Gavin Paine told a story that few wanted to hear.
“I gave you guys everything I could the first time around. Crossed the right T’s, Dotted the right I’s, but you didn’t give a shit. I took that home with me but I’m going to make sure that it NEVER happens again. I don’t listen to anyone’s voice..But one.”
Paine alluded to somebody who was going to lead him to victory.
“See, I’m not alone. I don’t need a stable of lackeys, but I do have one person who has given me something special. He gave me the truth. He said that I AM The Promised..Gavin Paine. For that, I’m going to take everything that I want.”
“The Promised” Gavin Paine huh? Okay.
The Drawing For Team Halvorsen vs. Team Striker Announced!!
Much like Team Romero vs. Team Kash, Team Halvorsen vs. Team Striker would involve the SWWS World Heavyweight Champion and the 2023 Blitzkrieg Legacy Gauntlet winner to be on opposite sides in action at The Crucible. Nicholas Gabriel, representing the Champion, and Striker stood with Valentine, Skellington, and Summers to find out who would be teaming up for this five on five elimination contest.
Team Striker will have…
The SWWS World Tag Team Champions Zach Rhodes & Kevin Reznor
Guthrie Graupe
And Jimmy Johnson
Team Halvorsen will have…
Taylor Sweet
Mitchell Ryan
Novia Vidal
And Marisol Vilaro!!
While Striker seemed to be happy with his luck of the draw, Gabriel looked like he saw a ghost. With only one ally on his client’s team, much less being one half of the Conglomerate merger, the odds didn’t appear to be good for the crazed Champion.
Lexi Gold Scores A Victory; Sykes and Cronin Come To Blows!
Lexi Gold didn’t come alone to tonight’s event against Tammy Huynh. Flanked by her Crucible teammates (Edward Cronin, MDK, Johnny Sykes, & Lillie Saint), The Golden Standard of SWWS came away with a relatively easy victory. Despite Huynh’s effort inside of the ring, the part time wrestler, part time comedian, wasn’t able to overcome the sheer determination of Gold. After picking up the victory with the Golden Flare around the seven minute mark, the real story had begun to unravel.
Asmodeus appeared on screen with Ted Hot, Jacob Fitch, Oliver Bradley, Jonah Greck, and Crazy Violet. His words seemed to be drawing Saint to returning to her ‘Family’. Gold, in an attempt to snap Saint out of her moment, shouted at her to avoid buying into the lies. As the words grew more intense, Saint snapped back at Gold by citing all the lies she had been told early in her career, saying that Asmodeus might have been the only one honest with her.
The two faced off in the middle of the ring as Saint rang the bell of Gold with a vicious slap to the face!! In an immediate reaction, Edward Cronin went to step in to fight Saint, only for Sykes to step in and shove Cronin! MDK tried to stay in between the two, but it was for nothing as Cronin and Sykes broke out into the fight in the middle of the ring!! Gold, trying to pull Cronin away from Sykes, shouted to Sykes to quit defending Saint when she needed to defend herself. The words may have only escalated the fight between the two as Asmodeus left the five with parting words.
“You’ve all been granted a life of misery for your past. With a simple confession at the Crucible, you could return our precious Daughter to her home. You’ll be welcomed too, with open arms. I will personally take you to Eden myself.”
The Conglomerate Makes A Physical Statement to Champions!
Last week, The Inevitable announced that they were making an open challenge to defend the SWWS Paradigm Tag Team Championship at T3. The team of Kimberly Chase and Alandra were inside of the locker room with Yumenko Sato and Sakura Matsuda, giving them credit for the incredible chemistry they had in the Pre Show. It initially looked like Sato and Matsuda would accept the open challenge, but were interrupted by Tyrone, Isaiah Andrews, and The Vilaro Legion of the Conglomerate.
The young team’s moment was not meant to be, however, as Veronica Taylor and Chantay Lavoie brutally ambushed Chase and Alandra. Even with Sato and Matsuda trying to help, they were thrown against the lockers by Andrews, Miguel, and Lorenzo. The chaos broke as Taylor and Lavoie accepted the Open Challenge to a chorus of jeers from the audience, leaving the Champions on the ground as a result of their decision to make the match to begin with.
The COBRA Battalion Qualify for the T3 Tournament
In a qualifying match to determine who will join Smith & Shane in the second annual T3 Tournament, The COBRA Battalion came out victorious against Ramon Vidal and Neron Yago. The team, brokered by Ignacia earlier in the day, looked to be nothing more than a fragment of the team the SWWS audience grew to love. Vidal and the Battalion battled tooth and nail until it was time to tag in Yago, who simply delivered a Capoeira Kick to his former partner. This opened up to the Alarm Clock from the Battalion for the easy victory.
After the match, Yago and Ignacia stood over Vidal with a smile, sending a definitive message to Vidal that he no longer fit in with their plans.
The Drawing For Team Emmanuelle vs. Team Olsen Announced!!
Opponents for April’s T3, Emmanuelle and Dr. Runa Olsen joined Luci Summers, Dilan Valentine, and Suzie Skellington. They initially showed each other respect, but it appeared that Olsen’s eyes were locked on Emmanuelle’s SWWS World Championship the entire time.
Team Olsen will have…
Former SWWS World Heavyweight Champion Donny Mason
Darius Stone
Josie Grey
Tyrone of the Conglomerate
And Steve Clark
Team Emmanuelle will have…
Ramon Vidal
SWWS Pacific Champion Amber Payne of KAOS
Nikki Payne of KAOS
Isaiah Andrews of the Conglomerate
FUMIHIKO of the Conglomerate
As their teams joined the Champion and #1 Contender, Emmanuelle realized that her team was pretty stacked, while Olsen saw giants out of Clark, Tyrone, Stone, and Mason while Josie Grey was one of the fiercest fighters.
In a sign of respect, Olsen and Emmanuelle shook hands, stating “May The Best Coach Win”.
