SWWS Interim World Championship
Seung (Champion) vs. Hazuki Sekiguchi (Challenger)
Story: Following the injury to the current SWWS World Champion Ava back in late January, Seung has been walking around with the title with the claim to be the new Champion. While Ava isn’t able to defend the title, SWWS and the Kazoka Office have agreed that Golden Wars will feature a match for the Interim Championship that Seung is holding. Her opponent, Hazuki Sekiguchi, recently won a huge match in Osaka to become the #1 contender to the title. Sekiguchi has been riding a huge wave of momentum as we head into Tokyo, can she get it done against the Busan Beauty?
KWDIAMONDS Goddess Championship
Katsumi Kumagai (Champion) vs. Athena Daze (Challenger)
Story: Some say this will be the end of the era for these two gladiators of KWDIAMONDS. This will also be the third time that Katsumi and Daze have fought inside of the ring for SWWS, the second time for the Goddess Championship. Following the double-pin at the Grand Prix in January, the BFFs have been second guessing themselves on who really is the better competitor inside of the ring. Katsumi’s reign has been long and difficult, but this could be the most difficult task of her career. A longtime friendship is on the line as well as the two collide for the gold.
SWWS World Tag Team Championship
30 Minute Iron Man Match
The Vilaro Legion (Miguel & Lorenzo) w/Marisol Vilaro (Champions) vs. The Iron Hearts (Guthrie Graupe & Nikos Mantzios) (Challengers)
Story: Ever since the Vilaro Legion won the Tag Team Championship back in November, few have questioned whether or not they can handle the best competition in SWWS. They have survived the Hot Fungers, the COBRA Battalion, but will the Iron Hearts be added to the list? The two teams have clashed several times, but this time there is a little something added into the mix. A thirty minute Iron Man stipulation has been added to ensure that the true winners of the match will emerge as the Champions.
KWDIAMONDS Tag Team Championship
The BLOOD Diamonds (Juri Maou & Setsuka Fujii) (Champions) vs. The Inevitable (Kimberly Chase & Alandra) (Challengers)
Story: Whether it’s a stolen chair or burned shoes, these two teams have been on a warpath for a very long time. Most recently, Chase and Alandra managed to upset the BLOOD Diamonds at Blind Date in February. With much more on the line and things growing even more personal, it’s only a matter of time before we will find out if the Inevitable are ready to win Tag Team gold!
Singles Match
YOKAI vs. Kazue Mihara
Story: There is no denying that YOKAI has hit a few roadblocks in SWWS. Whether it’s been problems with the Kazoka Office or even now with Kazue Mihara. Their problems surfaced in the first ever SWWS Pacific Championship match back at Blind Date and the problems have grown even larger ever since. The crafty Mihara has been able to stay a step ahead of YOKAI, but how much longer can she duck the problem? Well, Night 1 will solve that for us!
Singles Match
Dark Maiden vs. Ahmya
Story: This could have been easy, Dark Maiden thought. It couldn’t be that hard to break Ahmya, right? For months, Maiden has been using the innocence of her to push her agenda with the Sini-Sector faction. Test after test, Ahmya kept passing with flying colors. Well, mostly flying colors. It’s not freedom that’s on the line in Tokyo, it’s a point that will have to be proven when these two face off. Ahmya is ready to prove to the world that she belongs near the top of the Paradigm ladder, but there is one hell of a challenge in the way.
Singles Match
Andre Boone vs. Chuck Funger w/Ted Hot
Story: Nobody expected the sudden attitude change of the Hot Fungers. On a recent Supershow, Ted Hot and Chuck Funger revealed their true colors to the world by attacking Andre Boone and Isaiah Andrews. With months going by since we last saw Hot in action, it was his return match that set everything in motion. The Hot Fungers had enough. They injured Boone’s teammate. They cost Boone matches. Now, the former NFL player has to exact his revenge inside of the ring against great odds. With his self doubts overshadowing this contest, can Boone finally find the heart and grit inside of him to overcome the 7’0” Funger?
Singles Match
Gavin Paine vs. A Mystery Opponent
Story: The second generation star from Gateway, Gavin Paine, has struggled to get the same momentum that Pio Costa, his teammate, has been able to receive. Upon realizing that Costa is heading into Tokyo with a match with Touma Ito, Paine made the decision to challenge Don Tirri to a match on the big stage. Tirri, as respectful as he can be, declined the contest. It has been announced that Paine will compete regardless, according to Banch Morgan. His opponent, however, has not been announced. Who can it be?
Rise Or Fall Scramble
Winner receives the next opportunity at the SWWS Evolve Championship
Four Way Dance
The Taureau vs. Kristján Halvorsen vs. Dell Jacobs vs. Takeo Aki
Story: It’s been a big question. Who will be next to face off against SWWS Evolve Champion Donny Mason? People have challenged him, they have been turned away. On Night One, four more men will be battling it out to determine who will be next in line to face Mason. The Taureau is brand new to Gateway, but has shown promise inside of House of Paine Academy. Kristján Halvorsen has been the diamond in the rough on the Gateway brand, but there’s something to him that could give him a win in Tokyo. Dell Jacobs has been carrying a lot of momentum, using his looks and size to garner attention from nearly every manager in SWWS. Takeo Aki is back in action, a decade removed from his last competitive run. He won the RUSH Rumble back in January at the Grand Prix and looks to be on his way to face off against Mason for the title. Who can win this one?
