Opening Match - Qualifier for the Eclipse Championship match at ‘First Shots Fired’
Justina Jade defeated Cerys Davies & Ruby Garner in a triple threat match in 6:43 when Jade pinned Garner.
Notes: It was a solid showcase between the three Gateway competitors. Garner looked like a fish out of water, but that’ll come with time. Jade’s modified sunset flip pin led to a tremendous response from the audience as they didn’t expect the underdog to score the win so quickly. Jade and Garner acknowledged each other, but Davies shoved past the both of them as she exited the ring. On commentary, it was noted that this was Jade’s first victory ever in professional wrestling.
Recap Segment
A recap of the Kazoka Battle Royal to determine Ava’s opponent for Standoff was interrupted by Seung. She stated that she should get the first opportunity for the SWWS World Championship, and feels overlooked because of the backstage issues between two companies. She states that she refuses to be overlooked any longer, and people will need to have eyes in the back of their head going forward.
Backstage Segment
A backstage altercation took place between Ahmya and Masumi Sun. Ahmya kept asking Sun why she didn’t agree to face her in a singles match. Sun claimed that Ahmya was just another Kazoka talent, stealing her spotlight, and that her respect has to be earned. Sun challenged Ahmya to find a tag team partner to face her and a partner of her choosing to earn a singles match with Sun. Ahmya accepted the challenge, calling Sun a ‘Weenie’, leading to a tirade in Japanese from Sun.
Inside the Ring Segment
SWWS World Champion Ava came out to the ring, and spoke with the crowd about what the Championship meant to her. She talked about the sacrifices she made to become Champion, and claimed that she was more than happy to give anyone a chance to face her in the ring tonight. She stated that the title couldn’t be on the line due to the match at Standoff, but would gladly give the opponent a championship match following Standoff. This led to a local California talent named Nila Rich coming out to the ring. Ava looked surprised, but accepted the match regardless.
Singles Match - Non-Title Match
Ava defeated Nila Rich in 11:16 with a modified Blockbuster.
Notes: It was a relatively clean match. Rich seemed to have her act together in the ring, even giving the Champion some issues early on. Eventually, Ava was able to regain her momentum, getting the crowd behind her with some beautiful moves. The Blockbuster came from a unique corkscrew off the second rope that led to the victory for the Champion. Following the contest, the two shook hands in the middle of the ring, getting a great response from the audience.
Mystery Wrestler Segment

Kimberly eventually calmed her down, stating that they will be going for the SWWS Paradigm Tag Team Championships soon enough, and nobody can deny them.
Highlights from the KWDiamonds Event
Highlights from the Battle Royal are shown. The last two remaining competitors in the Battle Royal will battle later on tonight to determine who will be facing Ava at Standoff for the SWWS World Championship. We were down to the final five, including Koemi of the Bright Battle Battalion, Haruka Jin of Sini-Sector, Saika Sekiguchi, Yuki Ozaki, and Jun Nishioka. Haruka and Koemi, unfortunately, eliminate each other quickly, leading to a war of words between the two following their eliminations. It begins to look like Yuki and Saika are the final two, but it’s Jun Nishioka that comes out of nowhere to eliminate Yuki, bringing the match to a close. Nishioka and Saika stare each other down, which will bring us to our main event tonight.
Singles Match - Non-Title Match
Seiya defeated Isabel Moreira in 9:03 with a variation of the Spiral Tap.
Notes: Moreira looked pretty good early on in the contest. Her background in fighting definitely helped her for a few moments, but it was the superior technique and athleticism of the SpeedStar Champion that gave her an easy advantage as the match went on. Seiya looked like a million bucks in the ring, but it was also a match that allowed Isabel to get on the map. Following the contest, Mei Koyama made her way out, and asked for the Bright Battle Battalion version of Seiya to face her at Standoff. Seiya thought it over for a moment, and spoke out to say she’ll consider it.
Backstage Segment
Dr. Runa Olsen was helping out in the trainer’s room with Nila Rich, who suffered a minor injury to her neck. Lexi Gold walked in and demanded that the head trainer give her a massage due to a kink in her neck. Olsen stepped in, saying the room was to treat injured wrestlers, not a massage parlor. Gold got heated with Olsen, shoving her backwards a few steps before the two grappled with each other. Security was quick to break it up, allowing Gold to back away, saying that she’ll personally throw Olsen out in the Wish Granted Battle Royal.
The Crime of the Century
The BLOOD Diamonds, consisting of Fujii and Juri, were roaming around the arena. They were talking down the entire locker room of SWWS, saying there will be a clean sweep at Standoff for the Kazoka Office. Juri even began to sing an insulting song in Japanese until Fujii stopped her in her tracks, pointing at something. The two conversed for a moment, agreeing to do something horrible. They grabbed onto Kimberly Chase’s director chair. Fujii picked it up, swinging it over her shoulder while Juri sang in bad English ‘This is my chair..This is my chair.’ They made a quick escape with the chair while the crowd booed in the background.
Main Event - Winner to face Ava at Standoff for the SWWS World Championship
Jun Nishioka defeated Saika Sekiguchi 13:10 with a snap Fisherman Brainbuster.
Notes: Great back and forth contest between the two finalists. Jun used a lot of underhanded tactics to gain the advantage early, but Saika’s fighting spirit was showcased when it was needed. When it looked like Sekiguchi was going to get the win and opportunity to fight at Standoff, Megumi Iwai interfered on behalf of Nishioka to help secure the victory. Following the contest, Megumi and Jun beat down Saika until Hazuki came out to even the odds on behalf of her older sister. The two fought off Jun and Megumi while Ava stood on the top of the ramp. She watched the four intently, primarily focused on Nishioka. A shadowy figure stood behind the Champion, watching her from the shadows as the show came to a close.
