Southwest Wrestling Syndicate Presents…
SWWS vs. Kazoka Office: Standoff
November 19th, 2021
Citi Field in Flushing, NY
Song: ‘We Own It’ by 2 Chainz & Wiz Khalifa
The Build Up
Following the constant attacks between the SWWS Roster and Kazoka Office talent, Banch Morgan announced on the October 7th episode of Blitzkrieg that both sides have agreed to a Best Of Seven contest. If Team SWWS wins the Best of Seven, they will retain the contracts of the unsigned Kazoka Office members, bringing them to their roster in order to keep them under the thumb of the SWWS Staff. A loss for SWWS brings their talents to Japan for Supershows, booked in any manner that the Patriarch selects. Both the Patriarch and the SWWS Executives agreed that one of each company’s Championships will be on the line this evening.
The Lineup
SWWS vs. Kazoka Office Contest
SWWS World Heavyweight Champion vs. RUSH Grand Champion
Theodor Pavel vs. Amida Kumagai
Story: Theodor Pavel, winner of the 2021 Blitzkrieg Legacy Gauntlet, has taken down some of the biggest foes in professional wrestling history within his second year of the business. The 19 year old Romanian is facing his biggest battle yet as he takes on the reigning RUSH Grand Champion, Amida Kumagai. Kumagai, undefeated for six years and counting, has not even been held down for a two count in this run. Many say, at this stage of his career, Kumagai is more driven to throw aside any competition. Can the youngster prove the world wrong once again, or will the Hands Of Ice be another victim of the Human Boulder?
SWWS vs. Kazoka Office Contest
SWWS World Championship - Triple Threat Match
Ava (Champion) vs. Jun Nishioka (Challenger) vs. Saika Sekiguchi (Challenger)
Story: Known as one of the hardest workers to ever enter the business, Ava has been outshining and leading the way for the Paradigm brand. The winner of the 2021 Paradigm Legacy Gauntlet is set to make her first defense as she goes to war in the Best of Seven. In a shocking turn of events, Ava has elected to face two opponents from the Kazoka Office. Saika Sekiguchi and Jun Nishioka have made their cases known, and will be challenging for the SWWS World Championship in this special Triple Threat Match.
SWWS vs. Kazoka Office Contest - Day 1
SWWS Tag Team Champions vs. KWDIAMOND Tag Team Champions
The Crimson Bouquet vs. The BLOOD Diamonds
Story: The war started by Kimberly Chase going on a cruise. Due to her absence, Alandra needed to find a tag team partner for her match against The Crimson Bouquet. She chose Juri Maou, immediately turning against her. Maou, offended by the disrespect, chose to bring her BLOOD Diamonds tag team partner Setsuka Fujii to the Legacy Gauntlet, squaring off with The Crimson Bouquet during the contest. On the last episode of Paradigm, Saint and Violet were able to secure the SWWS Tag Team Championship, and were immediately in a staredown with the KWDIAMOND Tag Team Champions. Who will bring home a very important point when these two teams clash?
SWWS vs. Kazoka Office Contest
RUSH Jr. Heavyweight Championship
MYOJIN (Challenger) vs. Touma Ito (Champion) w/ Nicholas Gabriel
Story: Some say that MYOJIN has been in the direct path of the Kazoka Office since the Legacy Gauntlet event. Thanks to the interference of Gabriel, the Shining Star found himself eliminated midway through the contest. They ran all over the arena in a game of cat and mouse until Gabriel found himself at ringside, taking a vicious lariat from Don Tirri. Since then, the two have had a war of words in the arena and on social media. Gabriel announced that Touma Ito would be facing Shouta, but didn’t anticipate that Ito’s RUSH Jr. Heavyweight Championship would be on the line. Since the announcement, Ito has gone on record to claim that he is in love with MYOJIN’s fiance Himari. Is true love going to flourish at Standoff, or will Ito walk away with his Championship and a lady along the way?
SWWS vs. Kazoka Office Contest - Day 1
Non-Title
Matthew Knox & Don Tirri vs. The COBRA Battalion
Story: It’s no secret that Knox and Tirri haven’t been on the side of SWWS. They’ve been focused on vengeance for friends and family, but it brought them to Standoff in a special one time only contest between them and the RUSH Heavyweight Tag Team Champions The COBRA Battalion. The vicious duo consisting of Oliver Bradley and Jacob Fitch have only been the Champions for a short time, but are known for their smash mouth style inside of the ring. One wouldn’t expect punches to be pulled in this contest, especially with such high stakes.
SWWS vs. Kazoka Office Contest - Day 1
Non-Title
Athena Daze vs. Katsumi Kumagai
Story: The tale of two best friends. Athena Daze and Katsumi Kumagai have been inseparable for years, dating back to Daze’s time spent in Japan while working under the Kazoka Office umbrella. Katsumi has moved onto great success while Daze moved back to the United States to continue her hand as a trainer. For the first time in three years, these two will meet inside of the ring. Within the walls of Citi Field, it will be a return match for the ages. Will their bond be broken? Or will the two do anything to come away with the victory? We shall see.
SWWS vs. Kazoka Office
Non-Title Match
The Gaijin Playboys vs. BLOOD
Story: Reunited and it feels so good, one would say. For the first time in years, the Gaijin Playboys, consisting of Ramesses and the returning Colton Saint will battle Endo and Aoki, better known as BLOOD. On the Standoff Spectacular event, the Kazoka Office turned their backs on Ramesses, leading to Guest-Executive for the evening, Colton Saint, to even the odds and clean house with his former running buddy. Both men signed the contract inside of the ring, and these two teams are set to square off for the first time on American soil.
Non-Tournament Match - Day 1
KWDIAMOND SpeedStar Championship
Seiya (Champion) vs. Mei Koyama (Challenger)
Story: Everybody loves Mei Koyama! She wants to make sure everyone knows that before we continue. Mei has made it clear that she wants to win the SpeedStar Championship on as big of a stage as she can find. Luckily for City Field, this is that stage. The Champion, Seiya, has been absolutely dominant in SWWS, scoring victories on Paradigm as well as on Live Events. Koyama has been on a wild streak of her own, shocking the world by winning the #1 Contenders Match against Terumi Niki. If you haven’t seen these two in the ring, you’re in for a treat.
Non-Tournament Match
SWWS World Tag Team Championship
The Hot Fungers/The Vilaro Legion vs. Winners of the Fuck The Budget Battle Royal
Story: This match is entirely dependent on two things. Tag Team Champions The Hot Fungers will be defending their titles against The Vilaro Legion on the next Blitzkrieg. A win for either team will bring them to this match. Even scarier, the winners of that match will have only twenty four hours to prepare for their opponent due to the Fuck The Budget Battle Royal taking place at ‘First Shot Fired’ the night before. The two left standing in that match will receive a Tag Team Title Shot at Standoff against the Fungers or the Legion. For once, it appears the Champions may be at a disadvantage.
Non-Tournament Match
‘Wish Granted’ Battle Royal
Story: Yes, another battle royal. In this particular one, twenty superstars from Blitzkrieg and Paradigm will be inside of the ring from the start. As usual, over the top rope eliminations take place. The incentive? The winner of the contest will be granted One Match of their choosing. Whether it’s for a specific match type against a heated rival, or for an opportunity to become a Champion in SWWS, it doesn’t matter. With names like Nikos Mantzios, Lexi Gold, Daniel Horror, Seung, Adrian Drake, Autumn Dusk, Reginald Baroni, Michelle Jenkins and Jimmy Johnson just to name a few, it’s going to be an unpredictable night. The list hasn’t even been finalized, that’s how crazy this thing can get. Everyone entering the match has a wish in mind, what will it be?
