Special Pre-Show Contest - Gateway Brand
(With Paradigm moments away, we see an official set in the ring, no announcer in sight. The camera cuts to the back to again show Pio set for his potentially permanent role as a Gateway announcer. Standing beside him are Athena Daze and Ava who look to be in the middle of joking around, before we cut back, the sounds of ‘Absinthe’ start to be heard.)
Pio Costa (over the PA): The following contest is a pre-show Gateway showcase scheduled for one fall! Making her way to the ring first, hailing from Agadir, Morocco, weighing in at 135 pounds, she is FAAAAAIIIIIIIIZZZAAA BEEENNNNNIIIIIIIISSS!!
(Casually strolling out in cue with the song’s tonal shift, Faiza Bennis clad in her golden robe stands atop the stage, absorbing the negative reaction of the crowd as if they are cherishing her very existence. Paying no mind to the booing, she confidently struts down the rampway, clear focus on the ring ahead. Stepping in under the middle rope following hopping up onto the apron, Bennis stands, heading over to the center posing once again. Mid-glory seeking, her song cuts out to ‘Control’ as the fans immediately start chanting for the Beef.)
Pio Costa (over the PA): Now introducing her opponent! She comes to us from Hanoi, Vietnam and weighs in at..wait why does this say 682 pounds? She’s 125 on a good day! She is “THEEE BEEEFFFYY TAM-TAM” TAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMYYYY HHUUUUUUUYYYYYYNNNNNHHH!!!
(The fans continue cheering her on as she makes her way to the stage, giving a little twirl and her wonderful attempt at an alluring pose. Tammy then playfully sticks her tongue out with some peace thrown in before slapping the beef and making her way down the ramp, slapping hands with a few lucky fans along the way. Reaching the apron, she gives it a swipe of the hand, nodding at the cleanliness and giving it a couple taps. Hopping up onto it, she looks down for a second before jumping down into a front split, getting a pop from the crowd who appreciate the showmanship of Tammy. Hanging onto the bottom rope she leans out a little, giving a wave..and nearly falling, but she manages to hang on before quickly sliding in, cracking up.)
Ava: Ay Jesus reza por ella por favor.
Athena Daze: Yeah, what you said…
(Rolling up to a knee, Tammy takes in the adulation of the fans a second before rising to her feet, giving a playful bow. Placing her hand to her heart she again shares a genuine moment, heading over to the nearest turnbuckle. Faiza goes for the sneak attack, but Tammy turns just in time to point a finger at her, giving a spirited laugh and waggle of it before shooing her back to the corner so they can really get things started.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Tammy Huynh vs. Faiza Bennis
(The two women are quick to lockup in the center, Faiza using her strength advantage to drag Tammy a bit before slamming her face first on the mat. She keeps the pressure by dropping down and latching on a front facelock. Tammy struggles for a brief period but is able to work her way out of it, spinning out and grabbing hold of Faiza’s arm, working it for a bit. Bennis again uses her strength to push Tammy to a position where she has to let go of the hold. Both women reach a vertical base, staring the other down and giving a nod as the crowd shows appreciation for the fairly even match.)
Ava: Not bad, not bad at all. Feeling each other out works as both these ladies are rookies. But they got to kick it up if they want to really make an impression.
(Squaring up again, a second lockup looks to be in order, however Tammy ducks to the side to get a waistlock applied. Faiza counters into one of her own, but Tammy gets low, taking her opponent’s head and causing her to flip into a unique cover to the shock and applause of the fans.)
ONE! TW-
(Faiza kicks out, pushing Huynh off of her. Tammy stumbles forward a few steps, turning around to see Bennis up and going for a clothesline. She ducks the strike, hooking the arm and bringing her down with a crucifix pin...eventually.)
Athena Daze: How does she always get stuck?
ONE! TWO!
(Again Bennis refuses to stay down for the three, meeting Tammy at the pass with a stiff boot to the face which brings the cheers to a stop.)
Athena Daze: Nice looking boot there, kind of reminds you of someone doesn’t it?
Ava: Yeah my cheek knows where that came from all too well.
(Now with a smile plastered on her face, Bennis drags Tammy up to her knees by the hair before slamming her face against the canvas a few times. Staying on her, she again grips the long locks of Huynh, ignoring the official’s admonishing, as she brings her over to the ropes. Hanging her over the middle rope, she again pulls back on the hair, stretching her over the top as the crowd lets her have it, scattered cheers trying to rally Tammy back into this.)
Ava: Tam in trouble here, but we’ve seen it before that the spirit these fans give can make a difference. Isn’t that right, Athena?
Athena Daze: Keep rubbing it in, kid.
(Faiza lets go before the five count, only to grab at Tammy again, stretching her out one more time before stepping out onto the apron. She grabs hold of Tammy’s hands as she dangles over the middle rope. Lifting them, and her up, before jumping off the apron, causing Tammy to crash into the middle rope throat first. The crowd sounds off in near unison with an oof as Tammy falls back, clutching her throat, gasping for air.)
Athena Daze: What the hell was that?! Ref check on Tammy, for fu..
Ava: Yeah that did not look good. Not at all. Tam is tough though and seems like she’ll continue.
(The official continues to check on Tammy who is doing her best to compose herself, the fans cheering her on while Bennis taunts from the outside of the ring. She slides back in, looking to go after Tammy but the referee steps in between yelling at her to step back. Again she rebuffs him, but is cut off by a hard slap to the side of the head that stuns Bennis, Tammy using the slight turn of her foe’s body to hook her for a backslide. The flexible young woman is quick to bridge with it for extra leverage.)
Athena Daze: Good, I’m glad she slapped her.. Well this could be it.
ONE! TWO! THREE!
(DING DING DING!!)
Pio Costa (over the PA): HERE IS YOUR WINNER… TAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMYYYYYY HUUUUYYYYYYYYNNNNNNHH!!!
Ava: Nice victory here for Tammy, you can see how much she’s improving, but she’s going to have to get looked at after that.
Athena Daze: Yeah Nay, let’s go meet her there.
(The crowd erupts into cheers, especially after Tammy makes her way to a vertical base. She gives a bow, still holding her throat before giving a quick thumbs up and dropping back down to slide out. The fans continue to show her some love as the countdown begins.)

(Loud Biohazard Siren takes over the speakers momentarily, leading into the video playing over the wall. A loud percussion precedes each of the words on the screen.)

(Darkened footage of Ava sitting in the locker room.)
“Has…”
(Footage of the Crimson Bouquet standing at the top of the stage.)
“Shifted.”
(Dark Maiden delivers a Rope Hung Tornado DDT on Autumn Dusk.)
“Wooo, follow me!”
(Seung delivers a running penalty kick across the side of Lillie Saint’s back.)
“This is for real, I don't know where we are”
(A snap Powerslam from Ava to Kathryn Jardine.)
“Wooo, rage on!”
(YOKAI applies a vicious cross-armed submission to Alandra.)

(A discus lariat from Athena Daze collides with Masumi Sun.)
“Wooo, Follow me!”
(The Inevitable, Alandra and Kimberly Chase taunt the fans on the way to the ring.)
“Once inside Fight back cause you can't run & hide”
(Dark Maiden leans in the ropes, stalking her opposition during their entrance.)
“Wooo, Can't break me!”
(Crimson Bouquet members Lillie Saint and Crazy Violet deliver a double superkick to Kamari.)
“Waste no time, no harm, no crime”
(Several quick shots of Ava, Kamari, Amber Payne, Dark Maiden, Lillie Saint, Kimberly Chase, Alandra,YOKAI and Seung wrap up the video prior to explosions arriving on the stage to welcome us to PARADIGM!!!)
(The music continues to play throughout the sound system as the camera pans around. First to the ring where the announcer and referee are stationed and ready to go. Next to the executives table where we see Banch Morgan, Akiko Igarashi, and Eugene Youngblood seated. Finally we make it over to the announcers table with Dilan Valentine, Leo Criss and Lori Swick.)
Dilan Valentine: Ladies and gentlemen welcome back to Goliath Studios and to the inaugural broadcast of SWWS Paradigm! Joining me are Leo Criss and Lori Swick. Guys I got to say, following the madness of Prologue and the incredible athletic displays of the Blitzkrieg that followed, I have no idea what we’re in for tonight!
Leo Criss: I don’t know either, but I do know it’ll be crazy as all hell in its own way if the last two shows are anything to go by.
Lori Swick: One thing that is certain is we have an incredibly exciting match to kick things off. So let’s take it to the ring!
(The camera cuts back to the ring announcer. Before any words can be said though, the sounds of ‘Masquerade~交響曲第25番~’ begin to be heard over the sound system, the crowd immediately beginning to cheer.)
Dilan Valentine: Whoa, I know we were told that Kamari would be making an appearance tonight and addressing what happened a few weeks back, but we’re supposed to be having a match here right now.
(While she does make her way onto the stage in time with JULIA’s vocals kicking in, the usual theatrics of Kamari’s entrance are replaced with a look of seriousness, the young woman in the white sundress with splashes of color offering a bow to the live crowd before making her way to ringside. Sliding into the ring as her theme fades, she skips over to the ring announcer, politely asking for the microphone and tapping it a few times before readying herself to address the supportive crowd.)
Kamari: Hello to everybody!! I am super cute happy rainbow girl, Kamari! But tonight I am not so happy because last show I was in here something very bad happen to me and I want to know why! I give my best to you all, to the ring and for my spirit I get attacked. That is not okay! So please Ms. Akiko, help me to find the truth!
Dilan Valentine: Wait, does she really think Akiko might be involved or what? Kamari is acting a little strange here tonight.
Lori Swick: I mean you can’t blame the poor girl, she’s still clearly shaken up from what happened.
(Looking over to the executives table, Kamari motions for Akiko to join her in the ring. She slowly stands, looking at her fellow executives a bit unsure. The slight hesitation causes Kamari to exit the ring and walk over to the table, still smiling.)
Kamari: Ms. Akiko please. I know you are good and do not want for bad to happen in the ring. Do you hold answer inside? You tell me, yes?
Akiko (off-mic): I’m sorry Kamari, but I am still trying to figure this out myself. We are all trying to get the answer as to what happened with you and Sei..
(Before she could finish, Kamari puts her index finger up, wagging it before giving an acknowledging nod and sighing.)
Kamari: It is okay. We will find this out. I keep my eye on the night. You...do what you do best. ただそこに立ってください..
Dilan Valentine: I don’t know what she said, but that look was something I’ve never seen.
Leo Criss: I kind of like it.
(Turning herself away from the table, she again bows to the crowd.)
Kamari: Thank you all for time! Please enjoy the show! See you soon!
(Placing the microphone on the apron for the ring announcer to retrieve, a determined looking Kamari makes her way to the back, fans still cheering but the air of discomfort definitely lingering. Back to the ring, the announcer again takes their place after grabbing the microphone.)
Ring Announcer: The following contest is your opening match for Paradigm and is scheduled for one fall!
(The eerie, spine tingling sounds of ‘Desire’ begin to be heard across Goliath Studios, the lights going out save for a crimson swirling spotlight at the top of the stage. The crowd fall to a united hush until the lights flicker and the silhouette of the Dark Maiden appears to a chorus of boos. She stretches out her right arm then, the lace gloved hand pointing toward the ring before she balls it into a fist, slamming it down.)
Ring Announcer: Introducing first, she comes to us from Funabashi, Chiba, Japan and weighs in tonight at 131 pounds.. She is the Devil Princess of the Kazoka Diamonds.. She is DAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRKKK MAAAAAIIIIIIIIDDDEEEEEEENNNN!!!!
(Making her march to the ring, she locks her gaze on it, paying no mind to the fans who have no issue showing their clear dislike for her. Sliding in as she reaches the apron, she spins to a knee, taking a moment to bow her head before rising to her feet. The lights in the arena shift to a normal spotlight on her now. She shows off that devilish grin of hers that causes the jeering to cease momentarily before her music fades to ‘AA’ as a warm set of cheers begin to fill the arena.)
Ring Announcer: Now making her way to the ring is the opponent! She too hails from Funabashi, Chiba, Japan and weighs in at 136 pounds.. She is the Blue Angel of the Kazoka Diamonds.. She is HAAAAAAAAZZZZUUUUUUKKKIIIII SEEEEEKKKKKIIIIIGUUUUCCCCHHHIIII!!
(The lights shift to a soft shade of blue, white strobes circling around the stage. As the upbeat rhythm kicks in, Hazuki Sekiguchi makes her way onto the stage. Reaching out to the demon who awaits her, she brings her hand to her heart, giving a bow before raising herself and her arms high in victory, the fans cheering her on. Lowering them, she heads down the rampway, giving appreciative nods to each side Climbing up to the apron, she stands on the second turnbuckle to her right, surveying the crowd before jumping into the ring. She steps face to face with Dark Maiden, the two exchanging some words before the referee steps in between.)
Lori Swick: It looks like both these young ladies are ready to get things started tonight and there’s no tension or rivalry like one between siblings. You all are in for a treat.
(DING! DING! DING!)
Dark Maiden vs. Hazuki Sekiguchi
(The two carefully circle, closing in, faking out, feeling one another out before locking hands. It wasn’t the usual test of strength as each Sekiguchi sister tried for a takedown, stuffing the efforts before finally Hazuki is able to turn her body in, taking Dark Maiden with force. She wouldn’t stay down long though, as she scrambled to her feet, scoring her own takedown before breaking the grip and scraping her boot across the head of Hazuki. The crowd is quick to get on her for the disrespect.)
Leo Criss: Dark Maiden making a statement here that Hazuki is not on her level.
(The Maiden points a mocking finger at her opposition and charges in with a lariat, but her attempt is ducked under, Hazuki hooking her and driving her down to the mat hard with a Sambo Suplex. Not letting up she keeps hold and pulls her back to her feet before spinning and hooking her with a bridging northern lights suplex.)
ONE! T-
(Dark Maiden powers out of the pin attempt, quickly turning and holding her back in pain. Gritting through it though, she actually meets Hazuki to her feet, delivering a stiff club to the chest, yelling at her. The Blue Angel strikes right back which causes Dark Maiden to yell some more. The Sekiguchi twins start laying into each other, neither letting up which causes the crowd to roar in approval of the striking display.)
Lori Swick: This is what I was alluding to earlier guys. They may be blood, but that blood has been boiling for years. All the comparisons they’ve had to deal with, all the accolades overshadowed by whispers of how the other could have done it better. It’s all coming out here.
Leo Criss: They’re both going to be full on red by the time this one is done, that’s for sure.
(The two twins continue their exchange, clubbing blows to chops, chops to face slaps, and face slaps to backhands. They back up at the same time, going for a final blow which both telegraph and are able to avoid. However Dark Maiden is just a touch faster on the rebound, catching Hazuki with a spinning crescent kick. Before she could crumble to the canvas, Dark Maiden snatches her, using her strength to deadlift her and deliver a beautiful sidewinder suplex, going for the cover.)
ONE! TWO! THR-
(Sekiguchi barely kicks out, but makes sure to power out instead of simply getting the shoulder up. This brings about a sneer from Dark Maiden who yells to her and the crowd who are trying to rally Hazuki back in this fight. The cheers are quieted by several mounted strikes to the face of Hazuki who does her best to cover up. Standing up from the mount, Dark Maiden drags Sekiguchi up by her brunette locks, getting in a few more slaps before lifting her up once again. Swinging for the catatonic backbreaker, Dark Maiden finds her opponent floating over at the very last second, dropping her down with a desperation DDT. Both women are down now as the referee begins to count, the crowd showing appreciation for the match and both women involved.)
Dilan Valentine: These two have given their all in this match so far and the crowd here in Goliath Studios know it. Who gets up first will have a much needed advantage in this back and forth contest.
(Maiden and Hazuki both rise at the count of eight, going back to their routes for the advantageous grapple. After having no luck, Dark Maiden nails a kick to the midsection. She looks to be going for a powerbomb, but the Blue Angel steadies her base, nailing a few strikes to the midsection before springing up with a dropkick that causes Dark Maiden to stumble back into the ropes. On the bounceback Hazuki levels her with a Flatliner. Seeing the end near, she points over to the turnbuckle which gets a pop from the crowd as they ready for the Blue Phoenix.)
Lori Swick: One thing Hazuki has learned to utilize that her sister has not is that top rope, and it looks like she’s ready to end things with that gorgeous Blue Phoenix splash of hers.
(Slowly Hazuki climbs up, back to her downed opponent. She reaches the top, however before she can get into position, Dark Maiden is to her feet, dazed but knowing she needs to cut the wings of the angel. Shaking the effects of the match, Dark Maiden hooks her sibling lifting her up in a half nelson. Using her impressive strength even now, she brings her to the center for all to see, turning her in and slamming her hard with a sitout driver, ‘Ave Tenebrae’, immediately going for the cover.)
ONE! TWO! THREE!
(DING DING DING!!)
Ring Announcer: Here is your winner of the match, DAAAAAAAARRRRRRKK MAAAAAAAIIIIIIDDDDEEEEENNNN!!!
(Letting go of the cover, a primal scream escapes from Dark Maiden, the fans again showing their appreciation for the match. Yelling down to her opponent, she then turns her attention to the masses.)
Dark Maiden (off-mic): You SEE!! You think you know, but you know nothing! You will see soon!
Dilan Valentine: Powerful words there from the usually quiet Dark Maiden..
(Dark Maiden rolls out of the ring, just as the camera cuts over to the interior of an empty wrestling gym. It’s ancient in appearance, but well used and loved. The sunlight cascading in through the windows gives it an ethereal, nearly holy glow. After a beat, a woman’s voice begins pouring in over the speakers. To the initiated, it is the voice of none other than Amber Payne.)
Amber Payne: A lot of fighters claim to be the biggest, the baddest, the most lethal and yet so few of them have ever had to struggle, really struggle like I have.
(A soft piano piece plays underneath the footage, black and white of Amber Payne taking serious punishment in numerous past matches but refusing to give up, her fighting through a neck injury and wearing a crimson mask in two clips standing out in particular.)
Amber Payne: I have been training for this dream since I was in High School. I wasn’t born with the perfect body or dangerous out the box. No, I had to work to reshape that box, harden it with years of trials, of battles and become The Huntress. Nothing has ever been handed to me, but I have gladly handed out ass kickings all over the globe.
(The piano piece picks up in its intensity as more clips of her career flash on the screen, numerous triumphs and titles being won and held over her head, face growing more proud and confident with each passing moment.)
Amber Payne: And SWWS will be no different. I have come to thrive, and conquer. That starts with me becoming the company’s first World Champion by way of victory in the Legacy Gauntlet. And I won’t be stopped. But you know what’s so much worse? I've brought a couple friends. No…let me correct that. I haven’t brought friends, I've brought sisters. SWWS faithful and those who I will be happy to bring in to witness our dominance, I present the future of your tag team division, Kylie Ravers and Davina Knox!
(Clips of Davina and Kylie now flash as the piano begins to pick up even more, joined by a powerful percussion track and electric guitar. Clips of them and Amber standing over battered opponents are woven into the perfection they display in the ring.)
Amber Payne: We are the Daughters of Anarchy. And Anarchy is what we plan to bring to SWWS. So prepare for it, pray for it to go away, run from it...it won’t matter. Unlike some who claim they are, Anarchy is truly inevitable. And so are we!
(The clip ends on a few last keystrokes, and the image of the three women standing victorious. The camera cuts to the backstage area where Alandra and Mitchell Ryan of the Inevitable stand alongside Alandra’s partner for the night Justina Jade. Mitchell stands there cross-armed and silent while Alandra can’t help but point at him over what she witnessed.)
Alandra: What the hell was that? Ridiculous..come on Mitchie, come on not Kimberly. We got a match to win in honor of our partners who can’t be here and to shut up whatever that was just now. Go grab the chair.
(Rolling her eyes, she storms off, cameras cutting back to ringside where the announcer is standing by and ready to get the next contest underway.)
Ring Announcer: This next contest is a tag team match scheduled for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit! Introducing the first team, at a total combined weight of 222 pounds, being accompanied to the ring by Mitchell Ryan.. AAAAALLLLLLLAAAAAAAANNNNNDDRRAAAAAAA AND JUUUUUSSSSTTIIIIIIIINNNAAAAA JAAAAAAAAADDDEEE!!
(Then that damn song ‘Dead Alert’ begins to play, the crowd in the arena, at home, on that one alien chick’s home planet all unify in a sound of ugh before the boos nearly overtake the sound system. The blinding strobe lights and lasers flash all around to the sickening beat, before Mitchell Ryan steps out to the stage, scoping the arena for a moment before Alandra and Justina Jade make their way out. Alandra strikes a pose, Justina doing the same next to her which gets the second generation hellion to yell at her, so she scurries to the ring. Getting back to her pose, she calls for the chair.)
Dilan Valentine: Oh god here comes the damn chair..
Leo Criss: Hey! Don’t you dare say a negative thing about that chair! Do you know what that chair represents? It’s unity, it’s greatness. That chair is everything you want to be and more!
Dilan Valentine: I swore I saw one just like it at Walmart.
Leo Criss: You shut your whore mouth right now!!
(Mitchell carefully places the grandiose marvel that is the chair on the stage, the fans having none of this display. Jade has already made her way into the ring and waits as Alandra calls for her stablemate to help her clear the sea of peons on the way to the ring. Easily hoisting her onto his shoulders, Ryan carries her down the rampway, Alandra giving a dainty modelesque wave before being placed on the apron. She looks ready to enter the ring in style, but thank all that is holy the song gets cut off by ‘Scary Mask’ which sends the crowd into a frenzy while Alandra huffs, irritated.)
Ring Announcer: Now introducing their opponents! Tonight they stand at a combined weight of 274 pounds, LLIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLIIIIIIIIEEEEEE SSSAAAAAAAIIIIIINNNNTT AND CCRRRRAAAAAAAZZZZYYYY VVIIIIIIIIOOOOOLLLLEEEETTTT, THE CCRRRRRRRRIIIIIIMMMMSSSSOOOOOONN BOOOOUUUUUQQQQQUUUEEEETTTT!!
(Swirling lights of red, blue, green and violet eclipse the strobe lights as the studio fans go ever crazier, the anticipation for the arrival of SWWS’ premier tag team rises. On cue with their theme’s intensity growing, Crazy Violet and Lillie Saint make their way out, Lillie giving a playful smack to her partner in crime’s shoulder and pointing out how electric the crowd is tonight. The two dearest friends show their appreciation with smiles before gazing into one another’s eyes and coming together in an epic pinky square. Separating for a second, the two come together in a side by side hug as they make their way down the ramp together, tugging back and forth to show the fans their own appreciation.)
Lori Swick: The love for the Crimson Bouquet is real and in droves. These two have had a wild year, but all their hard work has finally come together in championship victory they look to duplicate here in SWWS. Tonight’s match is set to be a great preview of what Paradigm’s tag team division has to offer.
Leo Criss: Now hold on there, we know the Inevitable is incomplete right now. So while Alandra will lead her partner to victory here tonight, doesn’t mean she’s showing all the true team can offer. Once the Mastermind returns? Then we’ll get a look at the true champs.
Dilan Valentine: What are you on? Seriously..
(Reaching the apron, both Violet and Lillie have a seat, Lillie looking to Violet who still seems a bit unsure as her partner turns her attention to the fans in the loudest section, calling to them off mic “Wish US luck!” Looking back at Violet, she motions that they got this before the two skin the cat and enter the ring. Well..Violet does it pretty easily to her surprise while Lillie takes an extra second or four. The two share another laugh and hug before giving a bow as their music fades.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Crimson Bouquet vs. Alandra & Justina Jade
(The official tries to get two of the women out of the ring to get the match underway, however Alandra is having none of it, stepping up to the Crimson Bouquet who meet her in the middle of the ring. Talking tough to both women who have a couple inches on her, she points out her opponent for the evening, highlighting her intellect and hair for some reason, which brings puzzled looks from Saint and Violet.)
Dilan Valentine: Oh come on now, ref you need to get control of this.
(Looking over to Mitchell who taps his wrist, Alandra gives a smirk before grabbing hold of her own tag team partner and tossing her over to the Crimson Bouquet. Instinctively, seeing someone head their way, the two women drill her with a double superkick which brings a loud cheer from the crowd. After realizing what happened, both look to Alandra confused, who simply exits the ring motioning that their time will be coming soon enough. (Lillie and Violet shrug off whatever that was to celebrate briefly before exiting the ring together, again find themselves tugging at the arm, trying to show love to their awesome fans as the scene fades to a luxury suite. Seated just outside a hot tub is the Busan Beauty herself, Seung. She is dressed in a gorgeous designer romper, showcasing her signature smirk.)
Seung: What? Did you expect me to be in a bikini? Eating strawberries too and being all seductive for you? Yeah, not my thing, at least not for all of you. Now what is my thing is making a statement and last time you saw me in an SWWS ring, that is exactly what I did.
(Trailing her nails along the water, Seung lets out a laugh.)
Seung: I hear some people saying that I shouldn’t have won that match, that I took advantage of Lillie being a scared runaway and YOKAI being too stuck in her drama to pay attention and you know what? You’re right. See, I’m not the kind of bitch who acts like the real world is what I make of it to boost my ego. I do that just fine getting win after win, being successful outside the ring and looking in the mirror every day. But! Even though I may have taken advantage of a situation, doesn’t mean I’m not as good as everyone I beat in my SWWS broadcasted debut.
(A simple shake of the head, Seung brings her hand from the water, pointing over to the camera.)
Seung: It means I’m better and I will gladly continue to prove that point the next time you see me at the Legacy Gauntlet. My victory in that four way not only secured my spot in the match, it also showed all of you a preview of what the company’s future holds. Me holding my head up high, getting my hand raised up high and looking damn good with that World Championship around my waist. 여왕에게 절하십시오.
(Giving a wink, Seung turns her attention away from the camera as the scene fades back over to ringside.)
Leo Criss: Seung not only looking good, but she’s making her claim that the Legacy Gauntlet will be hers.
Lori Swick: She has 29 other determined competitors who are set on proving that claim of hers wrong, and that, along with our other top championship will be decided live September 23rd. For now though, we have a true case of a rookie taking on a legend as Kathryn Jardine goes one on one with Athena Daze.
Dilan Valentine: I couldn’t have put it any better myself, Lori. Let’s take it to the ring.
(The Goliath Studios erupt as the announcer is set to introduce the next contest and ‘Legacy’ begins playing over the sound system.)
Ring Announcer: This next match is scheduled for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit! Making her way to the ring at this time, to be accompanied to the ring by Maria Brienne, hailing from Sydney, Australia.. Weighing in at 130 pounds, she is KKAAAAAAAAATTTTHHHRRRRYYYYYYNNNN JJAAAAAAAARRRRRRDDDIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNEEEEE!!
(A chorus of boos accompany Kathryn Jardine who makes her way to the stage with an arrogant smirk plastered on her face, side by side with the menacing glare of the amazonian like Maria Brienne. The little squirt of course starts yelling her greatness out to the fans who give it right back to her, before she screams in frustration and charges down towards the ring.)
Leo Criss: The disrespect here in Goliath Studios just makes me sick, these two are gems and the people have the nerve to boo them.
Lori Swick: Well to be fair, while Maria had a good showing in the House of Paine gauntlet, these two did no favors to their image with their shady tactics. We’ll see if that plays a factor in tonight’s match, although with the woman Kathryn’s set to face, I’m sure she’ll be ready for it.
(Back at ringside, we see Kathryn arrogantly posing by the ropes, Maria standing guard on the outside. Her taunting is cut off by the powerful tune of ‘Broken Vessel’ which leads the fans into cheers. The lights switch over to a dark indigo shade, the matriarch of House of Paine and the SWWS wasting no time in stepping out onto the stage.)
Ring Announcer: And her opponent! She comes to us from Oakland, California and weighs in tonight at 155 pounds.. She is AAAAAATTTTHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEENNNNNAAAAAA DDDAAAAAAAAAAZZZZZZEEEEEE!!
(Walking with a level of intensity few have seen and fewer can match, Athena is pure focus, her eyes not leaving her overly confident opponent, or the behemoth at ringside. Before she makes her way into the ring, Daze shows why she is the toughest of them all, stepping up to Brienne with a smirk as if challenging her to get in her way before sliding into the ring. Skipping the pageantry, Athena steps to her opponent, Jardine quickly backs up and calls for the referee to keep Daze away so the match can officially begin.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Kathryn Jardine w/Maria Brienne vs. Athena Daze
(Athena eyes her opponent with a snarl, eyes shifting to her manager on the outside. She shakes her head and goes to lock up. Jardine hesitantly obliges, easily getting overpowered by Daze who applies a waistlock before taking her down to the canvas. The veteran floats over to a headlock with ease, yelling for her opponent to work for it. Jardine scrambles for a moment before tugging at the long hair of Athena, slipping out of her hold and going for a sleeper. However the larger, more experienced woman reaches behind her and tosses Jardine over like she’s a sack of potatoes, laying in a stiff boot to her upon the young woman landing hard on the canvas. Jardine desperately darts to the ropes, holding on for dear life while yelling at the referee, Athena, and then voicing her disbelief to her silent partner.)
Dilan Valentine: Kathryn Jardine is quickly realizing what everyone else already knows, Athena doesn’t play around in the ring.
Leo Criss: Don’t take her lightly either though, just wait until she unleashes the Blooming Onion!
Lori Swick: Wait, that’s not one of her.. What even is that? Nevermind..
(Not looking to waste anymore time, Athena steps to Kathryn, grabbing her and pulling her off the ropes. Jardine breaks her grip with a bite to the arm, mocking Athena as she holds her arm, but a rush gets caught with ease, Daze driving her down with a powerslam. Athena yells down to the sneaky witch, giving her a slap across the face before going for the cover.)

(Kathryn manages to get her shoulder up. Giving a nod, Athena stays on her, delivering a quick forearm before whipping her off. Jardine manages a last second reversal which leads to the trip by Brienne. Daze is back up immediately looking out to Maria, who just watches stone-faced. Athena is caught by the recovering Kathryn who brings her down with a hairpull neckbreaker. She complains about her back briefly before pinning her opponent.)
ONE! T-
(Powering out of the pin with clear authority, Daze nearly sends Kathryn across the ring who looks on in shock. She yells that it wasn’t just a three count, but a five. She has little time to do anything else as she finds herself faced with an annoyed Athena who calls for her to get up.)
Dilan Valentine: Lori, would you care to chime in with your expert analysis here?
Lori Swick: Kat might die here.
Dilan Valentine: Yeah, pretty much.
(Jardine takes her time getting to her feet, but mid-staredown runs in, looking for a spinning wheel kick. Athena catches her though, giving a bit of a smirk before ragdolling her into position for the torturous Athena’s Wrath. The free arm of Kathryn flails desperately, the official checking to see if she gives up. Before any tap can happen, Maria Brienne hops up onto the apron, a guttural scream bringing the referee over to her.)
Dilan Valentine: Oh this is ridiculous, it’s every time with these two.
(Noticing the official being distracted, Athena releases the hold, heading over to Brienne and stepping nose to nose with her. The referee backs Daze up, back turned to Maria who lands a quick cheap shot, staggering Athena to the waiting arms of the loopy little spit Jardine who hooks her for the schoolboy, making sure to tug at her shorts for extra leverage.)

Dilan Valentine: Ooohh Athena’s pissed.
(Athena, turns the official around as Jardine’s hand gets raised, protesting the decision and motioning that her shorts were hooked. Kathryn mocks the veteran, but as Athena goes to take a swing, she gets clubbed in the back with a double axe handle by Maria Brienne. The two Sydney natives begin stomping away at Daze who does her best to get to a vertical base and fend off the attack. The numbers game is too much for her though as she’s brought right back down with a facebreaker, backbreaker combo from the duo who look pleased with themselves.)
Dilan Valentine: Okay come on now, officials need to get these two to the back already.
(Jardine looks to her partner, motioning for a chair, the amazonian exiting the ring to obtain Kathryn’s weapon of choice. Sliding into the ring, she lifts the weapon, but her swing is halted by the fans cheering at a figure in ripped jeans and a hoodie, sliding in to stand face to face with the she-beast. Lowering the chair as the figure lowers the hood, the fans go insane as it’s the infamous “Bird of Prey” Remedy Jones!)
Lori Swick: Remedy Jones! Remedy Jones has arrived!
(Not looking too impressed, Brienne takes the swing, but Jones is too fast, easily ducking and nailing some quick rights and lefts before nailing a stiff backfist that brings the mountain to a knee, dropping the chair. Jardine backs off Athena, looking for the jump on Jones, but Remedy simply turns, dropping the mouthy minx with The Cure to a wild roar of cheers from the fans.)
Leo Criss: This girl is for real, and good thing for Athena as she stopped what could have been something serious against one of the best.
Lori Swick: Well with the fighting background she has, as well as her long standing fight against any form of bullying or distasteful behavior, it’s no surprise she would step in and step up tonight.
(Helping Daze to her feet, Remedy stares down the veteran who gives a respectful nod, the two then turning their combined attention to the recovering Aussies, Maria staring daggers back while Kathryn is still on a different planet. Cameras cut to outside the arena where an all-too-familiar 1972 Jaguar XJ12 pulls into the parking lot reserved for the talent. The vehicle finally brakes when the entourage of security steps in its path. The 50 year old V12 rumbled for a moment, before cutting off. Its driver’s side door flew open and a long leg, clad in black denim swung out, soon followed by the rest of the tall, lean, sleek form of Matthew “The Raven'' Knox. He stares silently at the security before speaking up.)
Matt Knox: What’s the problem, sorta-officers?
(The supervisor steps forward, impressive in bulk, but giving up nearly a whole foot to the fighter. He stares confidently though, as he informs him.)
Security Supervisor: Mister Knox, I’m afraid that management has barred you from the arena tonight.
(Matthew quirks an eyebrow, staring the man down, then looking beyond them to the arena.)
Matt Knox: And the reason given?
Security Supervisor: Repeated violent threats to both talent and management on social media. You’ve been deemed too big a liability to have around unless you’re booked, so we’re going to have to ask you to leave or you will be detained, and handed over to the Police where Mr Morgan and the rest of SWWS brass will file charges for trespassing, harassment and will then likely void your contract.
(The Raven’s eyes went ablaze a moment, he tensed as if meaning to strike the guard. But he found that one bit of self control he had, letting out a breath.)
Matt Knox: Just off the property, yes?
Security Supervisor: Yes sir.
(Matthew nods, backing up and sliding back into his car. The security team watches as he reverses, backing out onto the street. He then parks right outside the gate and kills the motor, eyes resting on the entirety of the team who return his gaze with annoyed glares.)
Matt Knox: Thank you for your service!
(The tone in which he called it out was mocking, but their hands were tied. They dispersed, and the Raven sat at his perch. Glasz eyes darting around, mind racing. He didn’t like this.)
Leo Criss: What a douche..
(The feed was quick to cut back to Goliath Studios as the ring announcer and official were all set to continue on with the evening’s show.)

(Nicoletta steps to the center of the ring, outstretched arms showcasing her figure which garners some boos from the crowd. Mocking offense, she then rolls her eyes before jaw jacking a few of the fans.)
Dilan Valentine: Nicoletta Meyer here looking quite confident as she’s set to take on one of our newest signings, but if she wants to have any chance at victory she needs to focus because it’s time.. The doctor is in!
Lori Swick: Oh that was just awful.
Ring Announcer: Now her opponent! About to make her way to the ring, she hails from Oslo, Norway, and weighs in at 119 pounds tonight.. She is the esteemed Doctor.. RUUUUUUUUUUUNNNAAAAAA OOOOOLLLLSSSSEEEENNNN!!
Voice (over the PA): Paging Dr. Olsen! Paging Dr. Olsen! We need you in the O.R. STAT!
(The sound of sirens lead into ‘My Favourite Game’ as the beloved doctor makes her way onto the stage, clad in her lab coat, stethoscope around her neck. Giving a salute to the crowd, she makes her way down to the ring, happily waving along the way.)
Lori Swick: Dr. Runa Olsen, an esteemed physician out of Norway has made quite a name for herself within the world of professional wrestling and after taking some time as the chief of medicine over at Slaughterhouse Wrestling, she has made her way to SWWS in order to dissect the competition and take her place at the top of the heap.
Dilan Valentine: ..And you said my pun was bad.
(Giving one last wave to the fans after entering the ring over the middle rope, Dr. Olsen removes her stethoscope and coat, handing it over to the ring attendant as the referee checks both competitors in order for the match to begin.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Runa Olsen vs. Nicoletta Meyer
(Runa and Nicoletta meet in the center of the ring, circling and sizing up one another before going for a clean lockup. Nicoletta fights and pushes for control, but Dr. Olsen lowers her stance and ends up pushing her into the corner where she begins to nail her with shoulder thrusts. Rallying the fans with a hearty cheer, the good doctor climbs up onto the second turnbuckle and begins raining down right hands. Getting up to nine, she leaps down and backs up as Meyer stumbles out of the corner, nailing her with a big roundhouse kick to the delight of those watching.)
Dilan Valentine: Dr. Olsen is wasting a little too much time pandering to the crowd, but being a decorated athlete in the ring, she will be sure to maintain focus when it counts the most.
(Runa stands triumphantly over Nicoletta, wearing a confident smile as she goes to pick her up off the mat, but Meyer fights back with some strikes, laying in elbows to the midsection of the good doctor. Creating a tiny bit of distance, Meyer is quick to close it with a stiff European uppercut! She then Irish whips Runa and goes for a dropkick, but Dr. Olsen telegraphs it, causing Nicoletta to catch nothing but air. Runa wastes no motion, snatching her quickly and lifting her with a snap back suplex, bridging for the cover.)

(Meyer kicks out, but the spirited physician doesn’t let it frustrate her, clapping her hands to get the fans riled up. Catching Nicoletta as she rises, Olsen gives a quick spin kick to the midsection before grabbing hold and driving her to the canvas with a DDT. Keeping hold of her opponent on the roll through she locks in a modified front facelock.)
Lori Swick: Just like that, Dr. Olsen showcases another dangerous part of her repertoire. Once she sees any weakness in the body, she’ll slap on the right hold and wear an opponent out.
(The official continues checking in on her, but Nicoletta refuses to give up. Using the little size advantage she has over the doctor, she somehow drags herself to the ropes for the break. The good sport she is, Runa instantly breaks the hold. However, when she goes to continue her offense, she’s met with a rake to the eyes, the fans immediately voicing their disapproval. Holding her neck in pain, Meyer grabs the blonde locks of Runa, taking her to the corner and bashing the doctor’s face into the turnbuckle pads before hooking her from behind and attempting victory with an O’Connor Roll.)

Leo Criss: Nicoletta doing what it takes to play spoiler on the doc’s debut.
(Runa kicks out to the cheers of her supporters, but Nicoletta pays no mind, seeming incensed on Runa, who she clubs in the back of her neck several times, as the good doctor tries to get to a vertical base. After laying in one more right, Meyer hits the ropes looking for a running knee, only to have it stuffed by the doctor who follows through with an elbow to the back of the head. Nicoletta stumbles but recovers as quickly as she can, turning around for another charge. This time, Dr. Olsen doesn’t duck, doesn’t dodge. Instead she nails a wicked Superkick from seemingly out of nowhere to a huge pop, causing her larger opponent to crumble to the canvas. Runa immediately goes for the cover.)

Lori Swick: Very impressive win for Dr. Runa Olsen, who has made a clear statement that any ring rust people thought she may have had is non-existent. With a cheery smile, she’s ready for the Legacy Gauntlet.
(The sight of the good doctor slapping five with some of her fans fades, cameras cutting to a serene scene. The pacific ocean with a big, dark home overlooking the sand and surf from atop a hill in the background. In the sand, on a towel sitting in the lotus position looking equally serene as the calm surf and lethal as a nuclear bomb was none other than YOKAI. Her eyes peer into the camera with a quiet intensity, before finally her voice comes to join it.)
YOKAI: Legacy. The word is thrown around more than explicit and risque photos on Twitter. It has almost lost all meaning. But for me? It still holds weight, it still holds meaning. This sport, this match, the prospect of that Gold? They MATTER.
(Her tone was fierce, but eerily calm. Her eyes never leave the camera, the gaze piercing to the very core of the viewers in the arena and watching at home.)
YOKAI: There are enemies at my gates. My family has been targeted and now I am not just like the wind in the ring, I am in it out of it. But all this wrath, this ire, this hardship? Simply iron sharpening iron.
(A deep inhale of salt air, and she stands to her feet, gaze somehow becoming even more intense.)
YOKAI: Every woman in this Legacy Gauntlet is at best a speed bump on my way to finally obtaining the glory I know I am capable of. At worst? Deserving the very best of my ability, and the worst of my wrath. I know you know who I speak of, but for those unaware, that one in particular?
(A sneer appears on her face, the eyes narrow as if she is staring the menace in the face.)
YOKAI: Seiya, I speak directly to you now you leashed bitch. Your forked tongue and venom words have not had your desired effect. I am not intimidated, I am not scared...I am angry. You mock me, You mock my siblings. My love. My personal tragedies. And you expect to live through this..to come out of this with any semblance of victory or your career intact?
(The notion is greeted with a shake of her head.)
YOKAI: I will come out on top of the Legacy Gauntlet with the title held proudly over my head, and you will be at my feet in a broken, bloody heap. Exposed as the useless, stupid animal you are. You spit my claim of you being the bigger bitch back in my face, I’ll give you that one because come September 23rd, I will show you who the real bitch is and to the rest of you? Who the top one is. Try to stop me.
(A menacing glare, accompanied by a fiery smile is the last image we see of Queen Ghidorah.)
Lori Swick: YOKAI has had what some would call a tumultuous career in her short time wrestling, and with matters becoming so personal, you know she is going to the Legacy Gauntlet ready to set the competition ablaze.
Leo Criss: She got a huge target on her though and with our business partners not seeming too high on her, you know they won’t make it easy.
Lori Swick: It appears as though she’s counting on that. Speaking of a huge target, and the tough competition set for the Legacy Gauntlet, let’s take it to the announcer for what will surely be a hard hitting contest between two favorites for the match.
(Cameras cut back to ringside where the announcer is standing by, one final time, the crowd cheering in anticipation of what’s to come.)
Ring Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a twenty minute time limit and is your MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!!
(The crowd erupts at the announcement, the cheers growing as the lights in the studio flip to a purple and pink mix in time with ‘Kamikaze’ beginning to play.)
Ring Announcer: Introducing first! She hails from Nagoya, Chubu, Japan and weighs in tonight at a mighty 123 pounds, she is the SWEET AND SOUR SPIRIT BOMB OF THE SWWS, MMAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSUUUUUUUUMMMMIIIIIII SSSSUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNN!!!
(The bubbly Masumi skips out to the stage, placing her hand on her head and looking out to the cheering crowd before jumping up for joy and giving a thumbs up. The loyal give her a thumbs up too which leads to her pointing to the ring and racing to it.)
Lori Swick: A hard hitting dynamo, anyone fooled by the adorable smile is in for the rude awakening in the form of a knockout. One of the earlier talents to make their exposition to the US to be a part of House of Paine, Masumi Sun has really come together as a talent and now she’ll finally have the chance to show that on a wider scale here on Paradigm.
(Sliding into the ring, Masumi remains on a knee, bowing her head in prayer before bouncing back up, giving a perky salute to the cheering crowd in the center of the ring. Heading over to her corner, testing the ropes, and stretching her legs a bit, Masumi focuses her gaze at the stage. As her music fades, the sounds of ‘Cuenta’ come alive on the speakers, the arena lights switch over to red and blue, the crowd packing Goliath Studios are unglued.)
Ring Announcer: Introducing her opponent, she hails from Cayey, Puerto Rico and weighs in tonight at 138 pounds!! She is LA LUCHADORA UNTRADICIONAL AAAAAAAAAAAAAVVVVVVVAAAAAA!!!
(Casually strolling out onto the stage, the leather jacket clad Ava has a confident smile plastered on her face. Giving a nod to the insanely cheering fans, she gives her thighs a smack, raising back to a vertical base with her fist out. The SWWS faithful point theirs back at her in unison, showing their admiration of the gritty competitor. She then lowers her fist and makes her way down to the ring, pure focus now etched on her features, eyes locked with Masumi.)
Dilan Valentine: Speaking of talents who have come together all around, Ava is the epitome of that. She has dedicated so much time, so much effort to her craft and doesn’t boast about it like most. She is the true workhorse of the SWWS and is a future star, no question.
Lori Swick: Some may even say she’s at that level now, but they have no idea how high she can climb. We weren’t kidding when we were saying this is a battle between two favorites.
(Reaching the apron, she gives it a light tap before hopping onto it. Climbing to the second turnbuckle on her right, she adjusts her collar before again raising her fist out to her people. The fans continue showing their support with their raised fists until she hops down into the ring. As Ava tosses her jacket over to the ring attendant, her music fades and her opponent for the evening Masumi steps to the center, extending both arms out. Ava is quick to meet her, giving a respectful nod before grabbing both hands with her own, completing the sign of respect, the two women backing up to their respective corners after.)

Ava vs. Masumi Sun - Paradigm Main Event
(The two women circle, locking up in the center of the ring, jockeying for position. A trade of control leads both women taking a turn before it’s Ava who has Masumi backed into the ropes, the ref calling for a clean break. Ava listens, a smirk on her face as she gives Sun her space. Masumi rushes in for a second lockup, turning and dropping herself to take Ava down in a modified arm drag, but Ava maneuvers out of any hold attempt, snatching Masumi in a side headlock. Sun rolls her back though for a pin that Ava breaks before even a one, the two getting to their feet and staring one another down in understanding as the crowd cheers them both.)
Dilan Valentine: Great show of talent and respect here.
Leo Criss: A lot of respect shown here for sure, but you know it’s a matter of time before that goes out the window. Both these Paradigm stars are looking to make a statement here. Not make nice.
(Again the two circle, going for the lockup. Masumi however, fakes Ava out for the spin kick, Ava ducks under, looking for the sweep, Sun jumps avoiding the attempt. The two then give a step before charging at one another, delivering a double clothesline to each other. Both women get right back to their feet though, coming nose to nose each delivering a shove before they clinch and deliver forearms to their foe, the crowd shocked, but cheering this match breaking down to a strike off.)
Leo Criss: See what I mean! Niceties can only get you so far.
(The two continue striking until Ava ducks under one of Masumi’s rights, hooking her in a half nelson. Her attempt at the suplex is blocked by a back elbow, Masumi turning her around, looking for a snap suplex. Now Ava stuffs the attempt, delivering an elbow to the midsection which takes Sun back a step. An attempted clothesline is ducked with ease, Ava grabbing Masumi on the turn and taking her to the canvas with a spinning side suplex hanging on for the pin.)
ONE! TWO! T-
(Masumi kicks out and for good measure drives her knee to the side of Ava’s head, stunning the young woman. The crowd are going absolutely crazy over the action they’re all witnessing. Delivering another knee as she slowly rises to her feet, Masumi uses the chance to run back, bouncing off the ropes and bringing Ava down with a split legged Yakuza Kick.)
Lori Swick: The legs of Masumi Sun are a deadly weapon both inside and outside of the ring. Ava is going to need to regroup and maybe lay off trying to go hit for hit against her opponent here.
Dilan Valentine: Very good point there, Lori. We all know though that Ava isn’t the type to back down from a challenge, especially one where she is at a disadvantage.
(Sun gets up, snatching at the curly dark locks of Ava but again she keeps fighting, more shots to the midsection. Ava’s rally is cut off by a club to the back that takes her down to her knees. Ava is now met with some stiff kicks to the chest, the impact heard all across Goliath Studios. Following one last kick, Masumi steps back and goes for the killshot running knee, but Ava ducks at the last second. Using all her will, she grabs and drives her down hard with a Full Nelson Faceplant, turning Masumi over for the cover.)
ONE! TWO! THRE-
(Sun barely gets the shoulder up, Ava letting out an exhausted sigh, but nodding in acknowledgement that the bubbly bomb still got some fight left in her, the crowd stunned but loving the contest. Signalling for the end, Ava makes her way over to the turnbuckle, taking way more time than usual to get to the top. Sizing up the slowly rising Sun, Ava readies for the Blockbuster, however Masumi stumbles back and hits the ropes causing the Jellybean to painfully get crotched. Seeing her chance, Masumi climbs up to meet Ava, laying in a couple right hands before perching herself and bringing her down to the canvas hard with a top rope Frankensteiner. Sun slowly crawls over and lays herself on top of the fallen Ava.)
Dilan Valentine: Ava is in a bad way here!
ONE! TWO! THRE-
(Ava drives her shoulder up, the crowd popping for the fighting spirit on display here. Masumi looks surprised, the exhausted warrior begging that it was three before slamming her fist on the canvas. Letting out a scream, she wakes herself up with a slap before looking to the turnbuckle like it’s the answer to life itself. Masumi again does her triple leap to the top, jumping down to take out her opponent with her patented Sunset Overdrive leg lariat. However, the aerial attempt is kicked out of the sky, Sun’s head nearly following suit. Ava wastes no time, desperately grabbing at her dazed opponent and hooking her from behind to deliver her Jellybelly Surprise peach sunrise variant, bridging for the cover as the official gets into position.)
(DING DING DING!!!)
Ring Announcer: HERE IS YOUR WINNER OF THE MATCH.. AAAAAAAAAAAAAVVVVVVVVVVVAAAAAAAA!!!
(Ava struggles to her feet, but makes sure to head over to Masumi, giving her some words of encouragement and a hug before Sun rolls out of the ring, leaving Ava to her moment. The sold out crowd in Goliath Studios giving her the love and cheers she fought for tonight.)
Dilan Valentine: An incredible victory here tonight for Ava as she continues her momentum heading into the first ever women’s Legacy Gauntlet on September 23rd! We have one more stop on the way there, but for now it looks like the rest of the roster is in for a hard time should they step to this young athlete. For Lori Swick and Leo Criss, this is Dilan Valentine saying thank you for joining us tonight in-
(Cameras cut to the back where it looks like Megumi Iwai is lending words of encouragement to Masumi Sun who is struggling to stay vertical after her hard hitting match with Ava. A tap to the shoulder has her turning around to see an adorably angry Kamari.)
Kamari: We talk now!
Megumi Iwai: Wait, look Masumi is okay so we move away, let her stay and be okay, yes?
(Giving a nod, Kamari walks down the corridor, but not before inviting Megumi to lead the way.)
Kamari: Why Megumi? I thought we happy as friends. Then you become friends with Seiya and Dark Maiden, I do not know what she do. What is this?
(Showcasing a bit of a remorseful look Megumi nods, opening the door and guiding Kamari to the opposite parking lot to the one the talents normally go to, her car not too far off in an area of specially reserved spots.)
Megumi Iwai: Look.. I am sorry. I see this as wrong now, so we talk more. Eat food, get better. I feel pressure, you know wrestling spirit does this. Then we fight together?
(Stopping as she looks ahead to Megumi, her car and thinking over the whole ordeal, Kamari lets out a sigh.)
Kamari: I guess we can..
(The loud sounds of the door opening, slamming shut and being locked are heard in the distance which causes Kamari to snap around. Before she can see the source, a clubbing axe handle to the back of the head is delivered by Megumi, who starts laughing at the downed rainbow girl. She mounts her and delivers some more strikes to the back of her head, Kamari doing her best to scramble for position under the larger woman. Freeing her hands she starts scratching and striking back, which gets Megumi to step back.)
(Kamari tries to rush at her, but is again struck from behind, this time a swarm following in. Four masked figures in purple hoodies surround her, laying in kicks and stomps. Kamari struggles, desperately trying to swat away and get some air.)
(One of the masked people lowers her hood, keeping her face hidden, but freeing her shoulder length dark brown hair. She backs the others off before running and delivering a boot to the back of Kamari’s head. Still she crawls, reaching the car and doing her best to pull herself up. Megumi, who has recovered, yells out for something, stalking Kamari now. A chorus of laughter from the others drove out a scream from the battered little lady. Her voice is silenced though with a swift strike to the back of her head. Megumi laughs now, dangling the cause of Kamari’s unconscious state, a nightstick before throwing it down and commanding for the trunk of the car to be opened.)
(Hoisting her up like she’s nothing, Iwai walks over to the opened trunk, dumping Kamari in before shutting her in. Smacking the closed trunk, she looks over to the driver.)
Megumi Iwai: Take her where she..
(The banging against the door finally leads to the lock giving way, the hooded figures scattering as Megumi races into the car, barely having time to close the passenger side door before they drive off.)
