(Lights dim down as Led Zepplin’s The Immigrant Song hits the speakers to a thunderous ovation from the fans in Anaheim tonight!!
A referee leads the pack, stepping through the curtain first. Dilan Valentine, Lori Swick, and Leo Criss from the announcer’s team follow him on the way out. Eugene Youngblood, Karl Stinson, Akiko Igarashi, and Banch Morgan are the last to make their way out. They walk down the ramp, circling the ringside area while tagging the hands of audience members. The announcers break off from the line to go to their table while the referee and executives walk up the steps to the apron. The referee holds the ropes open for each executive. The Ring Announcer already stands inside of the ring, offering the microphone to the SWWS Chairman, Mr. Morgan.
Morgan circles the ring, looking at the executives while hearing various chants from the crowd at the Honda Center. The song fades out while Morgan smiles at the crowd.)
Banch Morgan: Anaheim!!! It’s been a while, hasn’t it?
(A chorus of cheers at the mere mention of their city. Fans are ready to enjoy some wrestling.)
Banch Morgan: You know, I sat on this thought for a few months now. What would it feel like to walk through that curtain and get that sensation of being inside of an SWWS ring? I thought the day would never come, yet here it is. Live in the flesh, the Southwest Wrestling Syndicate in the city of Anaheim! Wow!
(More cheers and chants come from the Anaheim faithful.)
Banch Morgan: Get used to this, we’re only going to get better. I wanted to do something special for everyone. So often when you see new businesses come and go, you’ll see the wrestlers show up and talk about how big and bad they are. You hear the announcers tell everyone how this match and that match are going to be remembered for a lifetime. But, do you really know what you’re watching? Do you really know us? Some of you know me, and that’s great. I’m not here for me tonight. I’m here for the executives inside of this ring right now. I’m here for the wrestlers in the back who are getting themselves ready to come out here and entertain each and every one of you. I’m here, mostly, for you all. What kind of guy would I be if I didn’t give these lovely people a chance to introduce themselves.
The three standing with me, they are the General Managers of three very special divisions. Let’s talk to them. Introduce yourselves please.
(Morgan steps over, handing a microphone to Eugene Youngblood, the General Manager of Gateway.)
Eugene Youngblood: What’s up Anaheim!! I’m Eugene Youngblood of the Gateway Division, and what you are about to see is going to be the best showcase of young talent that this business has ever had. Finally, a chance for the great students of the House of Paine to have a platform. With my leadership, their talent, and their drive, you will be seeing that the future of this industry is going to be looking incredibly bright.
(Youngblood hands the microphone over to Karl Stinson, the General Manager of Blitzkrieg.)
Karl Stinson: I want everybody to take a moment and think, not so much about the future, but the current day. Future stars are what the world will want to see in a few years, but let’s talk about what the world wants to see now. I’m Karl Stinson, and I represent the Blitzkrieg Division. Sure, we’ll take some of the future stars, but we have the biggest stars around on Blitzkrieg. You want to see Matthew Knox? MYOJIN? The Iron Hearts? Johnny Sykes? So many more? Just tune in, and you’ll see everything you ever wanted.
(Stinson hands the microphone over to Akiko Igarashi, the General Manager of Paradigm.)
Akiko Igarashi: Hello everyone! Now my colleagues have given such wonderful praise and provided reason for you to be excited for the other divisions SWWS has to offer, but I personally know that each of the incredible talents I have the pleasure of presenting will be more than capable of doing it on their own. We have amazing athletes from all over the world ready to come out here and showcase what they have in their skillset, but more importantly what they have in their hearts. As far as an introduction goes, I’ll admit to being on the shyer side, but I will give it my very best. My name is Akiko Igarashi, I am a proud worker, an ever prouder mother and I will do everything within my power to help produce a show to be proud of as well. Thank you all very much for your support. It will only get better from here.
(Igarashi hands the microphone back over to Banch Morgan.)
Banch Morgan: Now, unlike so many other places, we don’t exactly hide backstage. We know that the best place to see the action is right here at ringside. You see that lovely table out there, that’s exactly where our happy asses are going to be seated. So, with that in mind, I want everyone to enj..
Voice Off-Screen: HOLD IT!!!
(Morgan glances around, hearing the voice in confusion. The crowd groans in frustration as the Inevitable makes their way out onto the stage. The team of Ramesses, Kimberly Chase, Alandra, and Mitchell Ryan are already in their gear with the exception of the matching Inevitable t-shirts they’re wearing.)
Ramesses: HOOOOOOLD IT… HOOOOOOOOOLD ON...HOLD ON..Hold on. Thank you.
(The executives in the ring watch on while the four slowly make their way down to the ring.)
Ramesses: Oh.. Mr. Morgan, I swear sometimes you forget about who should be kicking this show off. You can’t have a show without our faces being all over the marquee. Yeah, you can sneer all you want, you can be all frustrated how rude this supposedly is, but here we are, ladies and gentlemen.
(The Inevitable members slowly walk up the steps to the ring apron, climbing in individually with sly smirks on their faces.)
Banch Morgan: Can’t this wait?
Ramesses: Wait? You had all day to introduce yourselves to the world. Now, you’re on our time. Last I checked, our time is that much more valuable. Everyone already knows who I am, let’s be real. In case you forgot though. Are you ready for this?
Banch Morgan: Do we have a choice?
Ramesses: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the show that is promoted, endorsed and just flat out perfected by us, the Inevitable. My name ain’t hard to remember, but it’s a bitch to spell for you uneducated swine. I am the Sexual Titan, the four time Pulitzer Prize winning, three time Grammy Award winning, two time winner of the Screen and Actor’s Guild most handsome Californian, and one time standing in the ring with has beens, and never was.. I’m Ramesses.
(A thunderous chorus of boos are directed at Ramesses. He doesn’t seem interested in what anyone has to say at this point.)
Ramesses: Now, as great as I am, I wouldn’t be the man I am today without the love and support of the most beautiful woman on the planet today. She is the object of every desire, she is the woman that starts wars just by adjusting a hair near her face. She is my Sekhmet.. Kimberly Chase. Talk to them, they need to hear the voice of perfection.
(Ramesses can hear the boos coming, but hands the microphone over to Kimberly Chase anyways.
Kimberly Chase: I need no other introduction, baby. That was beautiful. I know as much as it pains you all to see me here tonight you have to admit it is much needed. Also without us this show and this company would feel like a kids show with a bunch of ungrateful kids running around, so you're welcome. We're doing you a favor by being here. You thought you've seen it all in this business, but honey you haven't seen anything yet. It's going to be a wild, unforgettable ride and unfortunately for some they won't be safe from it.
(She smirks and the boos from the crowd are heard for her, playing around with the crowd before handing the mic back to Ramesses.)
Banch Morgan: Hey, that’s amazing. You know, you’ve done fantastic with your careers and all, but tonight really is about everybody on the roster. The past, the present, and the future of this business…
Ramesses: Of course it is! May I present to you the next in line. The Mountain east of Manitoba, the one and only Mitchell Ryan!
(Mitchell Ryan steps up towards Morgan, being handed the microphone. Rather than speaking, however, Mitchell simply stares at him.)
Banch Morgan: Alright, I see what you’re doing. Got some muscle on top of muscle there. You got what, 8% body fat? 5% body fat? No.. I’m sure it’s lower.. 3% body fat. Gotcha. Shame that all that muscle is apparently covering your vocal cords too. Anyone else?
(Alandra sneaks in, grabbing the microphone.)
Banch Morgan: Oh, for crying out loud.
Alandra: Hey Daddy!!
Banch Morgan: Professional, always a good thing.
Alandra: Oh come on, everyone knows that the future in wrestling is staring you right in the face. To make it even more exciting, Kimberly and I get to demonstrate it right here tonight. So, who’s it going to be?
Banch Morgan: Really?
Alandra: Who’s it going to be? Is it going to be those cellar dwellers, the Crimson Bouquet? Is it going to be Zane and Zara once they pop their kids out? Maybe we’re facing their kids!
Banch Morgan: Easy now.
(Kimberly chimes in as well, sharing the microphone with Alandra.)
Kimberly Chase: No matter what team you put against us they will all fall at our feet and we will dominate with the greatest of ease, so go ahead and waste your time assembling the untalented circus animals you call women and watch us rise to the top.
(Morgan glares over at the four of them, shaking his head at what Kimberly Chase had to say.)
Banch Morgan: You know something? I like this. I like the fact that you four have already gotten yourselves ready to go. Seeing as you two are in here though, I say the match should be happening..and it should happen..Right about...Now..
(The lights in the arena shift to different shades of purple and yellow, the crowd erupting as the painfully adorable sound of ‘Love Love Sugar’ begins to be heard over the sound system. The executives all make their way out the ring, heading over to their table. Seconds later, two pocket sized balls of energy make their way to the stage, playing Patty Cake to the beat of the song before striking a back to back peace sign pose.)
Ring Announcer: The following is a tag team contest scheduled for one fall with a 15 minute time limit. Making their way to the ring to face the team of Kimberly Chase and Alandra, fighting out of Date, Fukushima, Japan and weighing in at a combined 206 pounds.. They are the team of TEEEEEEERRRUUUUUUMMIIII NIIIIIIKKIIII AND MEEEEEEIIIIII KOOOOYYAAAAAMMMAA!!!!
(Hearing their names announced, the two excitedly point at themselves and then one another before locking arms and happily skipping down the aisleway, waving to the adoring fans as the perky lights continue strobing and pulsating to the sweet dance beat.)
Leo Criss: I think I’ve contracted diabetes from these two..
Dilan Valentine: Oh be nice! They are just very, very, very happy to be here.
(Reaching the bottom of the rampway, the two unlock arms and give each other a double high five before hopping onto the apron simultaneously. Giving more waves to the fans, the two stand up and face the inside of the ring. Bowing their heads against the top rope, they each take a moment before springing back to life and using the bottom rope to hop into the ring. Blowing kisses to the fans, their focus shifts to their opponents for the evening who look unimpressed by the display.)
Opening Match: Terumi Niki & Mei Koyama vs. Kimberly Chase & Alandra
(DING DING DING!!!)
(Following the sound of the bell, the official calls for two of the women to leave the ring. Terumi and Mei play a game of roshambo to determine who starts with the more experienced Terumi Niki kicking it off against Kimberly who declares with the greatest of confidence that she got this, even shooing away Ramesses and Mitchell Ryan who exit the ring and stand back. Alandra doesn’t argue, putting her hands up and stepping out onto the apron. The two women begin the traditional circle, Kimberly yelling for Terumi to go at her pace and see how it’s done before they lock up. The taller of the two Chase, ends up pushing Niki back, Terumi taking a half step as a result.)
Kimberly Chase (off-mic): YES!
(Much to the confusion of Terumi and the disapproval of the fans, Kimberly raises her arms in celebration, acting like she just won the entire match, the Legacy Gauntlet, an academy award and the Nobel Peace Prize. She even goes on to give an exaggerated bow, before walking over to the corner and tagging at the shoulder of Alandra who looks almost as dumbfounded as everyone else in attendance.)
Kimberly Chase (off-mic): Now finish her off!
Leo Criss: This could spell the end right here, Terumi is in a world of trouble after that flurry from The Mastermind!
Dilan Valentine: Are you..? I’m not even going to bother with that one..
(Alandra simply mouths ‘wait, what’ before giving a nod and heading into the ring to square up with Terumi who is tapping at her wrist with a giggle. Scoffing at the taunt, Alandra goes right after her, the more experienced bubblegum princess taking her down with a drop toe hold. Terumi gives a playful wave to the crowd before using Alandra as a mat for a front flip, flopping down to her belly right in front of the younger competitor and playfully waving at her as well. Frustrated, Alandra quickly shifts herself going for a kick to the head, but Niki uses her superior speed to catch the leg. The smile on her face quickly fades, Alandra begging her off as Niki forces her up before bringing her right back down with a spinning wheel kick.)
Lori Swick: Alandra picked the wrong time and person to try and kick at. She may be on the smaller side, but Terumi Niki has some deceptively dangerous strikes.
(Hanging onto Alandra by the back of her head, Terumi offers a rough smack to the back of the head before heading to the corner and tagging in Mei. The tandem each grab an arm of the starlet, whipping her off the ropes. Alandra ducks a double clothesline attempt, but gets a double low dropkick for her efforts, falling to the canvas face first. She makes her way to a knee only to meet another double dropkick from the duo, which brings about cheers. Terumi and Mei play to the audience asking them to ‘shhh’ looking like kawaii vultures. They meet the recovering rookie with a simultaneous low roundhouse kick to the sides of her head, Alandra slumping back down to the canvas. The official ushers Terumi out of the ring as Mei goes for the cover.)
Referee: ONE! TWO! TH-
(Alandra somehow gets the shoulder up, though she’s clearly feeling the effects of the strike-heavy offense her opponents offer. Mei stays on her, laying into her with a few forearms before running the ropes again. Alandra uses her wits to go low and grab at Mei, stumbling back and delivering a nasty looking stun-gun which brings a collective ‘oof’ from the live crowd.)
Lori Swick: Alandra showing some toughness there fighting through that offense, but that stun-gun did not look pretty.
Leo Criss: You can say what you want about the execution, what matters is who’s in control of the match now.
(A few more stomps and kicks leads to a tag to Kimberly Chase, who after offering her own cheap shot to Mei, has Alandra hold the bumblebee in place. Looking as if she’s going to bounce off the ropes, Chase mocks the notion before showcasing her natural leap and delivering a gorgeous dropkick to the back of Koyama’s head. She gives her partner a couple taps on the shoulder, as she steps back out onto the apron, and follows it up by taunting both the fans and the fallen Mei.)
Kimberly Chase (off-mic): I don’t need ropes to kick better than all of these little girls! It’s over!
Dilan Valentine: Kimberly in firm control, but she needs to quit playing to the crowd before it costs her.
(Going for a mocking one foot cover with a pose, Kimberly’s arrogant smirk gives way to a frustrated expression as she doesn’t even get a one count out of it. Angrily yelling at the referee, Chase goes back on the attack, kicking at Mei who is trying to get back to her feet. As Koyama gets to a vertical base, she meets a slap to the face from Kimberly who then slams her right back down. Not satisfied, she lifts Mei back up by the ponytails and hoists her up before whipping her right back down to the canvas. The fans are doing their best to boo Chase out of the building, but all it does is get her yelling right back, looking like she’s wiping dust onto her downed opponent before landing a picture perfect standing moonsault straight into a pin.)
Referee: ONE! TWO! THR-
(Mei uses all her might to kick out which helps further rally the fans behind the tiny wonderball. Another grab at the hair of Mei brings her back to her feet. Chase yells near incoherent words to talk down the youngest of the bunch before setting her up for The Serpent’s Way. Her execution is cut off by Mei pushing her away, stumbling back as quickly as she could and making the tag out to Terumi who springs to the top and leaps onto the unsuspecting Kimberly with a crossbody. Niki rolls off and keeps the charge going, this time nailing Chase with a float over neckbreaker. Kimberly lands hard and immediately heads to her corner, tagging in Alandra as she grips her neck in pain and calls over Ramesses, whispering something to him.)
Dilan Valentine: Hey what’s all this now?
Lori Swick: I don’t think there’s any questioning what’s going on here, Dilan.
(Back in the ring, Terumi is a house of fire, leaping at Alandra with a vicious strike at every turn. Following a running corkscrew neckbreaker, Niki goes to bounce off the ropes one more time but gets tripped up by the sexual titan who plays innocent when the official looks to see what happened. Running down from the rampway is Mei’s older sister, White Rose who begins yelling at Ramesses, who cocks an eyebrow and tries to cool the fires. Seeing that she’s ready to strike, he takes a step back, bringing Ryan to the forefront. Alandra stomps on Terumi one more time who’s hung over the second rope, but is clearly distracted by what’s going on outside. She then lifts her up, looking to go for a back suplex but Niki rolls her back with a bridged O’Connor roll. Kimberly tries to break up the cover but eats a running dropkick from the still recovering Mei for her efforts, Chase actually falling out of the ring and onto her teammates which gets Rose to back up with a smirk.)
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!
(DING DING DING!!!)
Leo Criss: What was that?! Highway robbery here in Anaheim, that’s what!
Lori Swick: Oh stop!
Ring Announcer: HERE ARE YOUR WINNERS, THE TEAM OF TEERRRUUUUUUUUUUMI NIIIIIIKI AND MEEEEEEEEIIIIIII KOOOOOOYAAAAAMAAAA!!!
(Terumi immediately springs up and rolls out of the ring as ‘Love Love Sugar’ begins to play again, Mei joining soon after, the two sharing a big hug. White Rose walks over to the two raising their arms in victory, as the fans are loving the fact that The Inevitable got shut up for at least two minutes here. More like two seconds, since all four are complaining to the referee, but we take what we can get.)
Dilan Valentine: What an impressive showing from the team of Terumi Niki and Mei Koyama. Those two have one heck of a future ahead of them here in SWWS. What’d you think, Lori?
Lori Swick: It’s pretty clear that the two have their eyes set on a prize going forward. I will say this though, and it’s a hot take. Kimberly Chase and Alandra worked extremely well together inside of the ring. They really showcased what they can do, and it’s only a matter of time before they have their breakout mo... Hey now, what is this?
(Cutting back to ringside, just as Terumi, Mei and White Rose look to be heading to the back Kimberly and Alandra rush them on the stage, clubbing the trio from behind. With Alandra laying in some kicks and Kimberly trying to smash the head of Terumi against the stage, it isn’t until the team of the Crimson Bouquet come out that they back up. Cheers from the crowd erupt as Lillie Saint and Crazy Violet step up to The Inevitable, who look initially shocked, scoff it off and then head to the back, teammates following suit. Lillie and Violet check on the downed ladies as it cuts back to the ring.)
Leo Criss: I don’t know about you, but I think Lillie and Violet have some explaining to do interrupting the poetic justice that was taking place right after the match.
Dilan Valentine: I’m not even going to dignify that with a response so we’re heading back ringside for the next match of the evening!
(The ring announcer stands inside of the ring, awaiting the next contest. ‘Fair City Riots’ hits the speakers to a pretty decent reaction from the audience. Two hard nosed Australians storm through the curtain, each one of them carrying an opened beer can. They are both shouting at the crowd while taking their walk down the ramp.)
Ring Announcer: The following is a tag team contest scheduled for one fall with a 15 minute time limit. Making their way to the ring, fighting out of Adelaide, Australia. Weighing in a total combined weight of 461lbs.. THEY ARE CT AND RJ BACH...THE HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLEY SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITES!!!!!!!!!
(The brothers Bach take a bit too much time at the ringside area, jaw jacking with a fan in the front row. RJ Bach quickly changes direction, sliding into the ring to stomp around the ring to the chorus of the song. CT glances into the ring, shrugging it off before sliding into the ring to join him after the chorus had already finished. CT gives off a bit of a laugh before finishing off his beer.)
Dilan Valentine: What was that?
Leo Criss: These are the Hooley Shites, Dilan. Two bad boys out of Australia that were part of the May class at House of Paine. The Bach brothers are known for their outlandish attitudes, they are quite the partiers and ladies men.
Lori Swick: ...Something like that. These men struck out more than the time we had two frat boys sign on back in February. They went home with nothing more than unemployment and four blue balls.
(RJ Bach circles the ring, wiping out the remainder of his beer before tossing the can outside of the ring. The two begin to talk strategy to each other, disagreeing before going into a shoving match!!)
Dilan Valentine: Oh these guys need to get on the same page..
“Greetings Earthlings..We Have Now Taken Over Your Radio..”
(‘Hit Em High’ hits the speakers to a nostalgic applause from the audience. Out steps the team of Andre Boone and Isaiah Andrews, rocking some Monstars jerseys as the crowd cheers wildly at the sight. They make their way down to the ring, tagging the hands of some fans on their way down to the ring.)
Ring Announcer: And their opponents.. Fighting out of Los Angeles and Sacramento, California respectively. At a combined weight of 510lbs.. THEY ARE THE TEAM OF IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIGH AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANDREWS AAAAND AAAAAAAAAAAAAAANDREEEEEEEEEEEEEE BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE!!!!!!
(The crowd is loving the throwback to Space Jam, watching the 7’0” Isaiah Andrews stand near the ring. Andre Boone high fives a fan or two before charging to the ring, leapfrogging over his giant teammate to a nice reaction. He springs over the top rope into the ring, followed by Andrews who climbs onto the apron before stepping in over the top rope. Boone takes off his jersey, looking around at the audience. He throws the jersey off into the crowd while Andrews stands in the middle of the ring, staring down the Bachs. He grabs onto the collar of his jersey, ripping it open prior to removing it to toss it into the crowd.)
Dilan Valentine: We have heard so much about these two rookies. One, a former NFL player, the other a former NBA player. Andre Boone is being regarded as the best athlete to come out of the rookie class, and Isaiah Andrews.. What a towering figure he is. Let’s see how they do here.
Lori Swick: Both men are very athletic, but you’re right, Andre Boone is an impeccable athlete. An elite football player from Georgia Tech, he played four years under the San Diego Chargers prior to retiring at 26 years old. He admitted recently that he retired because he felt he made enough money to live off of comfortably.
Dilan Valentine: That’s pretty interesting, Lori. I am looking forward to see how they do here tonight in their televised debut.
(The music fades out as both teams are looking each other over in the middle of the ring. The Bachs, for some reason, don’t appear to be intimidated. Maybe it’s the alcohol talking. Andre Boone and CT Bach are set to start this match off, while Andrews and RJ exit to their corners.)
Tag Team Match: The Hooley Shites vs. Andre Boone & Isaiah Andrews
(DING DING DING!!!)
(Boone and CT circle one another, sizing one another up until they lock up in the center of the ring. CT Bach applies a quick side headlock on Boone, shouting to the crowd that he has this already in the bag. Boone lifts him up for a back suplex, throwing him forward to the canvas. CT sits on the canvas for a moment, holding a sore region prior to getting back up.)
Dilan Valentine: CT Bach has no confidence problem, but he’s going to regret trying such a stupid move this early.
(Boone and CT lock up once again in the middle of the ring. This time, Boone is able to snap down on the arm, bringing it into an arm wrench. CT struggles to reverse the hold, trying to reach in for an eye gouge, but Boone is quick to drop himself to the mat, delivering an arm drag! CT kneels up, looking over at Boone with frustration beginning to grow. The two are back on their feet, talking to each other.
Leo Criss: Tempers are already flaring up in the middle of the ring. CT Bach is getting in the face of Andre Boone. Boone fires back with a few words..
(CT Bach delivers a strong shove to Boone, who responds with one of his own! Bach demands to not fight Boone in the middle of the ring, claiming he wants another opponent. Andre Boone glances over at the crowd, prior to pointing to the corner to an ovation from the audience. Boone walks over to the corner, putting his hand out..and Isaiah Andrews has tagged into the contest!!)
Dilan Valentine: We get our first look at the 7’0 tall Isaiah Andrews!!
(Andrews climbs in over the top rope, looking over at CT Bach. The two meet up in the middle of the ring. Bach looks ready to fight!! He swings his arm back to fire at Andrews, but quickly turns around to his corner. He walks over to RJ Bach, slapping his shoulder to tag him in! RJ doesn’t look too happy with this decision, but CT has already climbed out onto the apron. They’re arguing already...AND ANDREWS JUST CHARGED IN WITH A CLOTHESLINE, KNOCKING BOTH OF THEM OFF THE APRON!!!)
Lori Swick: Damn! He definitely has some speed to him!
(Andrews exits the ring to go after the Bachs! Both of them run off, making the giant chase after them. Both Bachs slide into the, but Andrews catches CT Bach as he slides in...He takes a sliding dropkick from RJ Bach, bringing the big guy down onto his back. CT is quickly back on his feet while Andre is shouting at the referee to get him out of there. CT grabs onto the leg of RJ Bach, lifting him up and over into an assisted moonsault onto Andrews!! CT quickly exits the ring while RJ goes for the cover.)
Referee: One!!
(Andrews throws RJ Bach off of him! The big guy is getting to his feet, but the kicks are being laid into the midsection of Andrews. RJ is quick to step back, tagging CT back into the match. As Andrews leans in the ropes, RJ grabs around his neck, leaping over the top rope with a neck snap across the top, forcing Andrews to drop back to the canvas!)
Leo Criss: This is great teamwork from the Hoooley Shites!!
(CT Bach climbs to the second rope, going with a leap of faith before slamming down onto Andrews with a senton splash! Bach immediately looks for the cover on Andrews.)
Referee: ONE!! TWO!!
(Andrews fires a shoulder up, as CT Bach looks frustrated with what’s taking place. He reaches over to RJ, who tags in for the contest. The Bachs jump in on the attack on Andrews, hitting him with hard forearms while the big guy finds his way to his feet. Both brothers grab onto the giant, whipping him off into the ropes, but the big guy breaks the double clothesline by running through it. He hits the ropes, coming back with a spirit full of fire. He leaps up at RJ and CT Bach, delivering a double dropkick to a huge ovation from the audience!! All three men are down!!)
Dilan Valentine: This is exactly what Isaiah Andrews needs. Finally an opening to make a tag to Andre Boone, who desperately wants into this match!
(RJ sees Andrews crawling to the corner, and grabs onto his leg! Andrews climbs up to one leg, taking a full dive to the corner..AND TAGS IN ANDRE BOONE!!!!!)
Leo Criss: Uh oh!
(Boone is in the ring, and like a house of fire, delivers a right hand to CT Bach! A punch for RJ Bach as well. He whips the smaller Bach into the ropes, catching him with a high back body drop!! A dropkick to CT Bach knocks the big brother to the canvas! The crowd is firmly behind Andre Boone who pulls RJ Bach up, whipping him off into the corner..He backs in, full of fire!! Boone charges in, leaping high as he delivers a heavy splash into the corner, squashing RJ as a result!)
Lori Swick: Look at Andre go!! That athleticism is coming into play here!!
(CT Bach fires a forearm across the back of Boone, knocking him forward. CT grabs onto Andre, whipping him into the ropes...It’s reversed, and now CT Bach hits the ropes. The big Australian charges back at Boone with a full head of steam, only to be lifted, and dropped into an atomic drop in the middle of the ring. Boone quickly stands himself up, squaring off with the wounded Bach. Boone smiles, giving a ‘goodbye wave’ to Bach before suddenly ducking down..A RUNNING BIG BOOT FROM ISAIAH ANDREWS JUST WENT OVER THE HEAD OF HIS PARTNER, CRACKING CT BACH ACROSS THE JAW!!!)
Dilan Valentine: Oh damn!! Isaiah Andrews just laid out CT Bach with that boot!! Andrews and Boone are in full control!!
(Boone and Andrews get fired up, giving each other a series of low fives before focusing their attention on RJ Bach..It appears to be time! Andrews pulls RJ in, setting him up while Andre Boone climbs to the top rope. Andrews lifts him up for a powerbomb, facing Boone, and he lifts RJ Bach even higher by the sides of his shorts...BOONE JUMPS OFF, CATCHING RJ BACH WHILE ANDREWS GOES FOR THE MODIFIED GORY BOMB..A HUUUUUUUUUUGE BULLDOG FROM BOONE CAUSES THE YOUNGEST BACH TO CRASH TO THE CANVAS!!! THE CROWD IS ON THEIR FEET WHILE BOONE GOES FOR THE COVER!!)
Referee: ONE!!! TWO!!! THREE!!!
(DING DING DING!!!)
Dilan Valentine: Did you see how high RJ Bach got in the air??? That and the pure athleticism of Andre Boone, the power of Isaiah Andrews… What a move!!!
(‘Hit Em High’ hits the speakers for the second time!! Andrews jokingly jumps onto the back of Boone, nearly knocking him over as they celebrate in the ring!!)
Ring Announcer: HERE ARE YOUR WINNERS.. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANDREEEEEEE BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE AND ISAAAAAAAAAAAAIAAAAAAAAAAAAH AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANDREWS!!!
(A replay is shown of Andrews crashing the gate by breaking up the double clothesline, and delivering a double dropkick. A surprising amount of elevation for the big man as he stopped the momentum of the Bachs.)
Lori Swick: I think we all underestimated what Isaiah Andrews can do inside of the ring, guys.
(A replay of the double team Atomic Drop/Big Boot from Boone and Andrews grounded CT Bach, followed by the modified Gory Bomb/Bulldog combination that finished off RJ Bach.)
Dilan Valentine: Some innovative moves. I know Andre had been working with MYOJIN recently on one of these moves. It certainly paid off!
(Andrews and Boone celebrate with the crowd as the shot fades out, leading into a very unusual segment..)
"It's not easy to root for the one who's supposed to be good at what they do."
The shot opens to an empty ring, a spotlight focused on the middle of it.
"And those so gifted at one thing, obviously fail spectacularly at a great many other things."
Into the spotlight, Matthew Knox walks in. Face paint, ring gear, focused and grim look. Ready to carve a path of destruction toward whatever the hell he desired.
"A lot of people will preach to you about striking a balance. I'm here to tell you it's a myth.."
The spotlight widens and Matt Knox is joined by...Matt Knox. Dressed in a button up shirt, slacks and dress shoes. Without the face paint a more tired, weathered face.
"Each of us is gifted a small flame of life. Desperately we feed it, keep it alive and burning. Trying desperately not to have it snuffed out…"
The spotlight turns red, neither Knox moves.
"One flame. One life. The life of a fighter, the life of a normal everyman and woman. The illusion of balance. Of having both...no one flame can sustain such ambition...so inevitably..one has to die."
A snap of action, the painted Knox leaps at the everyman. The Raven swings a vicious kick as the lights cut out.
The silence reigns..
"My problem is, I got so lost that I could never keep the lies straight. Man, monster, fighter, father…"
The lights return, a sullen blue. A figure is hunched over, arms wrapped around it's midsection.
"The Raven, Matthew Knox…"
Slowly, the figure stands. It's head remains bowed as slowly the camera pushes in upon him.
"Lies, Truth..it's all relative. Maybe I lost track of what flame to feed a long time ago..but in the Chaos, a resolution…"
Slowly, the face begins to lift.
"Whatever the fire is...I'm going to burn all of you with it."
Half painted. Half flesh. Half the man. Half the fighter.
"Now...can you stop me?"
(The shot fades out with the ominous Matt Knox making a statement here in SWWS.)
(Back at ringside, all focus is placed on the ring announcer for tonight’s event as the next match is set to start in just a few moments.)
Ring Announcer: The following contest is the HOUSE OF PAINE GAUNTLET MATCH!! In this match, the six women involved will be faced with a grueling test of endurance and will where falls are determined by pinfall, submission, countout or disqualification!
(As the sounds of ‘Cuenta’ come alive on the speakers, the arena lights switching over to red and blue, the crowd in Anaheim are unglued, loudly cheering for the first official entrant in tonight’s gauntlet match.)
Ring Announcer: Introducing the first competitor!! She hails from Cayey, Puerto Rico and weighed in tonight at 138 pounds!! She is LA LUCHADORA UUUUNNNNTRAAADIIICIIIOOONAALL AAAAAAAAAAAAAVVVVVVVAAAAAA!!!
(Casually strolling out onto the stage, the leather jacket clad Ava has a smooth smirk plastered on her face. Giving a nod to the fans, she gives her thighs a smack, raising back to a vertical base with her fist out. The SWWS faithful point theirs back at her in unison, showing their admiration of the young competitor. She then lowers her fist and makes her way down to the ring, pure focus now etched on her features.)
Leo Criss: Oh damn, now you know this match is going to be fire with Ava starting things off.
(Reaching the apron, she gives it a tap before hopping onto it. Climbing to the second turnbuckle on her right, she adjusts her collar before again raising her fist out to her people. The fans continue showing their support with their raised fists until she hops down into the ring. As Ava tosses her jacket over to the ring attendant, her music fades and the sounds of ‘Legacy’ come over the speakers. The fans give a warm enough reception, anticipating who will be joining the fan favorite boricua jellybean in this contest.)
Dilan Valentine: Now we know this is the theme of the newly formed team consisting of Kathryn Jardine and Maria Brienne, but as announced only one of them will be taking part in this gauntlet.
Lori Swick: Whoever it is, they have a tough task ahead of them with Ava and me calling it a tough task is a gross understatement.
(Our answer comes in the form of the smaller, quicker member of the team, Kathryn Jardine making her way out onto the stage. Always with the mouth on her, she begins jaw jacking Ava who stands in the center of the ring, motioning her to come on down and get this going.)
Ring Announcer: Making her way to the ring, the second participant in the HOUSE OF PAINE GAUNTLET, she is fighting out of Sydney, Australia and weighs in at...
(The ring announcer is cut off by the amazonian like Maria Brienne who slides into the ring and bashes Ava in the back of the head with a vicious double axe handle. The announcer is quick to leave the ring as Brienne stares down at her foe with a smirk before posing with her arms outstretched, the chorus of boos echoing throughout the arena.)
The House of Paine Gauntlet Match
(DING DING DING!!!)
Dilan Valentine: Well it looks like it’ll actually be Maria Brienne starting this gauntlet off against Ava, but that attack was ridiculous. This is supposed to be a proud display of House of Paine, not a cheap shot brigade.
(Maria continues laying it into Ava with boots to the back and back of the head. Brienne grabs at the midsection of Ava, bringing her up for what looks to be an attempt at a German Suplex. Ava is able to use her speed to roll through however, whipping Maria face first onto the canvas. Back on her feet, the babillosa shakes the attack off, looking disappointed before charging in with a stiff dropkick to the side of Maria’s head which causes the larger woman to roll to the outside.)
Leo Criss: Lesson learned, don’t piss off Ava.
(Kathryn immediately heads over to comfort her partner and get her back in the match. Ava looks on doing a double take between the two and the fans, the cheers from the masses guiding her to launch herself onto the two with a beautiful topé suicida. The crowd applauds the crisp dive with Ava motioning that was the one and only before bringing her attention back to Maria, grabbing the brunette and tossing her back into the ring. Ava looks to be going for the cover, but noticing that Maria still has some life in her, twists her arm and hoists the bigger woman onto her shoulders, showcasing her strength. Ava then drops her with a TKO, hooking the leg for the cover.)
Dilan Valentine: Seriously? These shenanigans need to stop already. We’re trying to have a match here.
(Noticing the referee being distracted by Kathryn on the apron, the fiery athlete runs up, nailing Jardine with a running knee that sends her flying off the apron. The crowd start going crazy for Ava, but their applause is cut off, much like the young woman by the mighty Maria who levels her with a stiff lariat to the back of the head.)
Lori Swick: While Maria is still working on finding herself in the ring, only having been at this since May, her ability to strike down the opposition with crushing hits like that can’t be denied.
(Lifting Ava back up after a few clubbing blows, Brienne tosses her into the corner. She takes a moment to shake off the effects of the TKO earlier and charges in with a knee to Ava’s midsection. A second knee follows, Maria then picking up Ava, sitting her on the top rope. The rookie from Sydney takes her time climbing up to join her, which gives Ava enough room to hit her with a couple right hands. The competitor out of Cayey then sends Maria down to the canvas with a wicked headbutt. She gives a smirk and points her fist to her fallen foe, the fans yelling out to her in unison “GO JELLYBEAN!!”)
Leo Criss: Maria’s next move can make all the difference here, meaning she better move out the way of the incoming missile!
(Leaping off the top smoother than butter, Ava takes down the stirring she-beast with a crisp Blockbuster from the top, not wasting any time in going for the cover.)
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!
Ring Announcer: MARIA BRIENNE HAS BEEN EEEEELIMINAAATED!!
Lori Swick: Despite the questionable tactics, great showing there by the rookie Maria Brienne.
(As Maria is helped to the back by her partner, Autumn Dusk runs down the aisleway, sliding into the ring with as great of ease as she can, Adrian Drake following her but remaining at ringside. He yells at her to go for the pin as Ava is making her way to her feet. Dusk rolls her up in a schoolgirl pin, trying her best to put as much weight on her for leverage.)
Dilan Valentine: Oh wow! Autumn with.. actually something!
Referee: ONE! TW-
(Ava kicks out with authority, turning to see Dusk there, with an arm out sort of begging her off. Adrian looks on as if knowing her main shot missed in this one. Ava backs off, giving Autumn the chance to get to her feet, even extending her hand out of sportsmanship. Dusk gives a nod and accepts the quick handshake.)
Lori Swick: Great show of sportsmanship there by Ava, and Autumn too. One thing we can proudly say about the students of House of Paine, past and present is that at the end of the day, they all know they’re people looking to be the best they can in this business. While some may use unsavory tactics, there will always be respect.
(The two women circle the ring, before locking up clean in the center. Ava keeps hold and drops down, delivering a modified arm drag to Autumn. She runs at her but Dusk actually manages to take her down with an arm drag of her own. She looks to follow it up with a hip toss, however Ava blocks it and hits her own, Dusk holding her back in pain as she goes over to the ropes. Autumn gets some supportive advice to get back in there but a charging clothesline attempt is ducked by Ava who hooks her from behind, looking as if she’s going to nail a back suplex, but whips Dusk down, dropping her with a faceplant and making the cover.)
Leo Criss: Yeah.. it’s over.
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!
Ring Announcer: AUTUMN DUSK HAS BEEN EEEEELIMINAAATED!!
(Giving her downed foe a supportive pat on the head, Ava helps Autumn roll over to Adrian who helps her to the back. As she stands back up, she notices that the next competitor, Isabella Martin has already made her way and is ready to strike. Showing that she’s still got a lot in the tank, Ava rolls underneath an attempted roundhouse kick, the crowd cheering as she gets to her feet wagging her index finger with a smirk.)
Dilan Valentine: You got to give Autumn credit for trying her best, but now we’re looking at Ava faced with another tough test and it seems like she knows it too.
(The two women face off, nearly nose to nose with Martin having the smallest of height advantage, but Ava being the bigger of the two. Isabella spouts a few choice words before attempting to pie face Ava. The fiery latina has none of it, grabbing onto Martin’s hand and delivering a chop to the face, yelling her own set of unsavory words.)
Leo Criss: Ooohh this is heating up quick.
(Ava, still having a tight hold on the hand of Isabella, uses it to drag her down with a modified snapmare, delivering a stiff kick to the back right after. She drives another kick to the back before twisting her up by the arm and lifting her onto her shoulders. Martin has this scouted, and rakes the eyes of Ava, dropping behind her and landing on her feet. Wasting no time, Isabella grabs Ava, dropping her with a Saito Suplex, the crowd letting out a unified ‘ohhh’ with how high the young woman landed. With a nod of acknowledgement, she goes for the pin.)
Referee: ONE! TWO! T-
(Ava powers out of the pin, the crowd popping the toughness she continues to exhibit. Frustrated at the near fall, Martin takes the mount position, laying in strike after strike on Ava, only stopping when the official begins to admonish her. This is all Ava needs though, the well rounded competitor hooking around Martin’s head and rolling through with a seated front facelock.)
Lori Swick: This is something I’ve always found fascinating about Ava, and I’m so glad that the masses get to see it on a grander level. This young woman has studied and nearly perfected so many different styles, she can switch it up at any point in time.
(The official continues to check on Isabella, but not only does she refuse to give up, she begins to move. Ava keeps the hold latched on, soon finding herself lifted off the ground, Martin hitting her sides a few times before tossing her overhead with a suplex. Holding her back in pain, Ava finds herself on the wrong end of a few boots from Isabella who looks quite out of it herself. Taking a moment to catch her breath, she grabs at the curly locks of her opponent, slamming her face first into the top turnbuckle. She turns her around and delivers a choke with her boot, utilizing the full count before backing up.)
Dilan Valentine: Isabella reestablishing control here, but she really needs to stay on Ava if she wants to put her away here and move on in the gauntlet.
(Mocking Ava’s fist point to the displeasure of the crowd, Isabella charges toward the corner, eating a boot from Ava for her trouble. Staggering back, holding her jaw in pain, Martin turns around to meet the leaping knee of Ava who is quick to drop her down to the canvas right after with a float over DDT. Keeping hold, she rolls back, once again locking the front facelock, this time with a lot more torque. Screaming at Martin, she wrenches back with the seated hold, wrapping her legs around the midsection as she does.)
Lori Swick: Ava with that seated front facelock cinched in yet again, if Isabella doesn’t find a way to power out of it again, this could be the end for her.
(With nowhere to go and her strength fading fast, Isabella has no choice but to tap out. Ava releases the hold right after, backing up into the corner and just glaring at her.)
Ring Announcer: BY WAY OF SUBMISSION ISABELLA MARTIN HAS BEEN EEEEELIMINAAATED!!
(Looking equally as intense is Isabella, who while struggling to catch her breath, matches Ava’s gaze before rolling out of the ring. A very cautious Tammy then makes her way down the ramp, looking on at what just happened and motioning to the crowd how that was a little too spicy for her liking.)
Dilan Valentine: God bless Tammy.. She is walking into the fire here.
(Ava reaches a vertical base, signs of the match now showing in her stance. Tammy sits up on the apron, looking over at her before rolling in and quickly hopping up to her feet. The crowd erupts in a chant for Beefy Tam-Tam who does her best to shush them as she’s trying her best to cool Ava’s jets.)
Tammy Huynh (off mic): Whoa now! Just one second. Hey everybody! Hey Akiko! I didn’t trip!! I did it!! Okay, okay I’m ready to die now, let’s do this!
(Ava can’t help cracking a smile but then just as quickly steps up to Tammy, looking ready to go. Hesitantly Tammy engages in circling with her. The two lock up in the center of the ring, Ava using her strength advantage to back Tammy up into the corner, making sure to back up as soon as the referee goes to step in between the two. Taking advantage of the space Tammy runs up and actually manages to hook around Ava, bringing her down with a slow but solid crucifix.)
Leo Criss: Tammy’s putting in the work today, look at her try!
Referee: ONE! TW-
(Ava rolls back from the pin, Tammy still seeming to hang on for what seems like dear life now. Standing back up with Tammy, Ava swings the lovely ha-ha lady, breaking her hold. As Ava goes for the sidewalk slam, Tammy somehow spins and takes her more experienced opponent down with a modified headscissors takedown to the shock and applause of the fans. Tammy herself looks the most surprised as she rushes in for another cover.)
Dilan Valentine: Oh wow! She’s actually pulling this off!
Referee: ONE! TW-
(Ava again kicks out with authority, much to the dismay of Tammy. The crowd is torn on this one, as both women are likeable and really putting in the effort. Tammy does her best to stay on Ava, but as she hooks her in a suplex like position, the more powerful competitor lifts her up instead, slamming her chest and face first down to the canvas. As Tammy works up to a knee Ava bounces off the ropes, hopping over her and bouncing off the opposite end, leveling her with a huge knee to the back of the head which causes Tammy to crumble. An exhausted Ava then hooks the leg.)
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!
Ring Announcer: TAMMY HUYNH HAS BEEN EEEEELIMINAAATED!!
(Ava rests on her knees for a moment, giving Tammy a playful few pats on the head before helping her up. The crowd gives her praise which leads to a tired bow and slight trip, the beefy one laughing through the pain before slowly making her way to the back.)
Lori Swick: You can’t help but love her, and like you two exclaimed before, Tammy’s definitely shown a bit of improvement here tonight.
(Meeting the final competitor halfway down the ramp, Tammy looks back as if to tell Ava trouble is approaching. There’s no sense of urgency, no nervousness, just a confident aura of toughness. This is Athena Daze.)
Dilan Valentine: And now Ava will face the toughest and most complete overall female competitor House of Paine has ever produced..
(Having made her way into the ring, she calls for Ava to stand tall, only demanding the best from one of her pupils. The two women go face to face before going right into the lockup. Reaching a standstill for a while, Athena finally gets the advantage, breaking the grip and latching onto a wristlock. Being close enough to the ropes allow Ava to use them as a way to flip over, duck under and take Athena’s wrist herself. However she is quickly countered again. Athena, having had enough of the generosity, used her strength to pull Ava in hard, ramming her with a shoulder tackle, a second one and then following it up with a slingshot suplex, floating over for the cover.)
Referee: ONE! TWO! T-
(Ava manages to get the shoulder up, this time with more of a struggle than the last few. Giving a nod, Athena stayed on her opponent, laying in a few strikes before latching on to a double arm choke, hoisting Ava up. As she goes to deliver the chokebomb though, she finds her foe doing all she can to fight the grip, eventually working her way around it in an attempt to roll her up. Athena is quick to roll through the attempt though and catches Ava on the rebound with a wicked clothesline, dropping down with her so the impact follows through the whole way.)
Lori Swick: Athena with a hellacious clothesline there and this is just the surface of what she brings to every match. She’s out here to prove a point and show why she is among the elite.
(Seeing the fight in Ava, Athena grabs hold of the younger competitor, forcing her up into a brutal standing Dragon Sleeper, actually bending Ava back with more torque, using her own student’s legs to wrap around her waist. The official checks on Ava who is trying to do everything in her power to fight out of the hold.)
Dilan Valentine: Ava is in some serious trouble here and you know that having started this match is catching up to her at this point.
(While not giving up, Ava still found herself trapped in the hold. The fans all across the arena and surely those watching as well rallied behind her, trying their best to give her their energy so she can somehow persevere. Slowly her body looks to begin giving out on her, with the referee checking her arm.)
Leo Criss: Ava has done an incredible job showcasing that babillosa spirit, but she’s in the clutches of THE beast.
(It drops once… twice… on the third go, much to the approval of the crowd, she hangs strong. Moving it around a bit more, she gathers herself and begins throwing back elbows to Daze. Athena finally drops her after the fifth strike, taking a half step stumble back. Checking her nose a moment, she goes back after Ava who leaps up and drives her knees up, dropping her mentor with a desperation facebreaker.)
Lori Swick: Ava with a facebreaker that’d easily shatter the nose! This is her chance, she needs to tap into the energy the fans are giving her here!
(Both women were down a bit, but Athena is the first up to her feet. She goes over to Ava but the warrior meets her at the pass with a forearm. The two women trade strikes, transitioning to chops, with Ava actually gaining the advantage. She uses the adrenaline surge to bounce off the ropes, looking for a jumping hurricanrana. However she gets caught and lifted up high. Athena hooks her for the Gory special, but Ava smartly hooks her arms and drops down into a backslide, floating over into a stacked jackknife pin.)
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!
(DING DING DING!!!)
Ring Announcer: HERE IS YOUR WINNER OF THE HOUSE OF PAINE GAUNTLET.. AAAAAAAAAVVAAAAAAAA!!
Dilan Valentine: WOW what an upset!!
(Ava gets her hand raised by the official while doubled over in pain, the adrenaline very quickly wearing off. Athena looks on in disbelief for a moment before letting out an irritated sigh. Glaring at the referee who quickly bolts out of her way, Daze looks down at Ava offering her hand. She grabs hold of it and gets pulled to her feet. Athena makes sure to bring her in real close, mouthing a few words to her before patting her on the back a few times and giving her the stage.)
Lori Swick: Nothing but respect here from teacher to student, but you know Athena is going to remember this and look to get back at Ava following tonight’s events.
Dilan Valentine: Yeah this one is far from over and there is no doubt we will be seeing these two meet up in the ring again soon.
(Ava looks on with a smirk, taking to the turnbuckle and soaking the adulation of the crowd. The ring announcer makes their way back to the center following her celebration to get things rolling with the next contest as the crowd watches in anticipation.)
Ring Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit!!
(‘The Miracle’ hits the speakers to a huge ovation from the audience in Anaheim! Pio Costa storms out onto the ramp, getting the crowd riled up as if he just landed a spot on a game show. He makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with everyone he can find.)
Ring Announcer: Introducing first, fighting out of Naples, Italy.. Weighing in at 180lbs… HE IS PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIO COOOOOOOOOOOOOSTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
(A tremendous ovation for the rookie sensation out of Italy, Pio Costa circles the ring in his voyage to tag as many hands as he can before sliding into the ring. He runs over to the ropes, jumping up while throwing his arms back with a grin on his face. The crowd is eating it up!)
Dilan Valentine: Pio-Mania has come to the Honda Center!!! What trouble can this young man find himself in as he makes his SWWS debut?
Lori Swick: Pio carries the story of a guy wanting to make a better life for himself. Simply put, he is every person that has been told he’s too small, not good enough. He is living the dream that most of those men and women wish they could be doing.
Dilan Valentine: He certainly has a size disadvantage most nights, and I feel tonight will be no different.
(Costa turns himself around, standing on the second rope while watching the ramp. His music slowly comes to an end, only for ‘Dead Alert’ to hit the speakers. The crowd groans as the Inevitable will be represented in this contest as well. Out comes Ramesses, Mitchell Ryan, Kimberly Chase, and Alandra to a chorus of boos. The four seemingly disregard Pio Costa as soon as they begin their walk down towards the ring.)
Ring Announcer: And his opponent.. Accompanied by the Inevitable, he is fighting out of Dresden, Ontario, Canada. Weighing in at 270lbs… MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTCHELL RYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!
(What terrible attitudes the four of them have. Ramesses is leading the way, reminding the world that there’s no way that Pio Costa can match up against the likes of Mitchell Ryan. Kimberly Chase and Alandra follow suit, keeping the audience away from the muscle of the famed stable. Ryan slowly approaches the bottom of the ramp, looking over at his teammates prior to marching up the steps to the ring apron. He peers into the ring at Costa, who remains standing on the second rope. Ryan slowly enters the ring, jogging briefly towards the middle of the ring, giving an intense flex to the audience while his three teammates cheer him on.)
Leo Criss: The size of this guy, he looks like a battle tank that’s about to crush a compact car.
Dilan Valentine: How many times do we have to see the Inevitable tonight?
Lori Swick: Hopefully only one more time. Ramesses looks to be the proud Papa of the Muscle from the Great White North. Kimberly and Alandra certainly can’t be too pleased following their match tonight, but they seem to be in good spirits with this match looming.
Dilan Valentine: Alright, let’s get to the action here.
(Pio Costa jumps down from the second rope, watching the gigantic Mitchell Ryan stare from across the ring. Alandra is shouting at Pio about how much shorter he suddenly got.)
Singles Match: Pio Costa vs. Mitchell Ryan
(DING DING DING!!!)
(Costa ignores the criticism while circling the ring. The slow movement of Ryan is throwing his timing off, but Costa refuses to let it get to him. The two lock up in the center of the ring. Pio immediately looks for a side headlock, wrenching in on the powerful member of the Inevitable. Ryan doesn’t seem to be fighting back much, allowing Costa to try and do some damage inside of the side headlock.)
Dilan Valentine: Costa has that headlock applied, but I just don’t think he knows what he can do in order to get the big guy off his feet.
Lori Swick: It’s still early, definitely a feeling out process going on. If anything, I think Pio needs to focus on the legs of Ryan.
(Finally having enough, Ryan shoves Pio off into the ropes. Pio returns, running full speed into him, colliding with a shoulderblock. Mitchell Ryan doesn’t move an inch, causing Costa to stumble back, nearly falling over from the impact.)
Leo Criss: Bad idea.
(Once again, Pio charges into the ropes. Ryan prepares himself by standing his ground, only to be surprised by Costa doing a cartwheel around him! A heavy leg kick lands against Ryan, causing him to step back. A second kick from Costa is forcing Mitchell Ryan to cover up a little.)
Kimberly Chase (off-mic): That’s not legal!!!
(Pio charges off into the ropes, leading to Mitchell swinging for the fences at him. Pio ducks under, hitting the ropes with tremendous speed...A LOW DROPKICK CONNECTS ON MITCHELL RYAN!!)
Dilan Valentine: Did he...YES.. Pio just took Mitchell Ryan down to a knee!!
(Ryan is back on his feet, testing his leg out a bit.)
Dilan Valentine: Oh..
(Costa charges into the ropes, returning with a second low dropkick, but this time, Mitchell Ryan catches him by the legs. He pulls the little guy up by the ankles, holding him upside down while looking out at the Inevitable members as he laughs. The three join in on the laughter, watching the attempted swirly position. Costa is struggling to get himself free, trying to run with his hands.)
Lori Swick: Come on Pio. He needs to really come up with something better than this.
(Having enough of the escape attempt, Ryan lifts him with force over the shoulder into a Canadian Backbreaker. This could spell the end for Pio Costa already, but Costa’s legs drop onto the top rope. Mitchell is struggling to hang onto him, finally breaking his grip so he can get some space between Costa and himself.)
Leo Criss: It’s a solid attempt to escape the clutches of Mitchell Ryan, but we haven’t seen too much in terms of offense coming from either men.
(A stiff back kick from the top rope forces Ryan to retreat to the middle of the ring. He holds his chest, glancing at his teammates with a slight grimace. Pio Costa takes his chance, diving off the top rope with a missile dropkick!! Mitchell Ryan staggers back in complete shock!! Costa is back on his feet, using that Italian temper to fire away on the big guy with everything he has!!!)
Dilan Valentine: There you go, buddy!! Pio Costa is taking Mitchell Ryan to school with the flurry of rights and lefts. Look at him go!!
(Costa throws in a kick, but Ryan catches his foot. Costa fires back by swinging his leg up and over, catching Mitchell Ryan with an enzuigiri!! Ryan continues stumbling back, only to be met with more strikes coming from the underdog. The Inevitable look to be absolutely incensed with Ryan struggling. Pio Costa charges into the ropes ducking under a right from the frustrated monster. He hits the ropes in return, only for Mitchell Ryan to charge off into the ropes as well. Pio Costa looks for the spinning heel kick..AND MITCHELL RYAN SLAMS RIGHT INTO PIO COSTA, SENDING HIM FLYING TO THE CANVAS!!!)
Lori Swick: Oh no!
(Ramesses is shouting from outside of the ring, ultimately leading to the three on the outside raising their hands high. Mitchell Ryan raises his hand as well to a chorus of boos from the audience. The muscle man picks up Costa, applying a bit of a stomach claw on the youngster. He lifts Costa up, holding him high..AND DOWN WITH THE VICIOUS SPINEBUSTER!!! PIO COSTA IS FOLDED IN HALF!!!)
Leo Criss: That has to be it! Pio Costa looks to be down for the count.
(Mitchell Ryan stands over Pio Costa, kicking his legs to the canvas before dropping onto him with a very confident cover.)
Referee: ONE!!! TWO!!! THREE!!!
(DING DING DING!!!)
(‘Dead Alert’ hits for the second time as the Inevitable members climb into the ring. Kimberly and Alandra are laughing at Pio Costa while Ramesses admonishes the referee.)
Ring Announcer: Here is your winner.. MIIIIIIIIIIIITCHEEEEEEELLL RYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAN!!!!
(Rather than allowing the referee to raise the monster’s hand, Ramesses grabs the hand of Mitchell Ryan, raising it for the audience. Loud jeers come from the audience.)
Dilan Valentine: This man is gigantic, Lori. He didn’t even get knocked off of his feet.
Lori Swick: He didn’t, Dilan. I have to give some credit to Pio Costa for trying different ways to make it happen, but the power game was too much, too early for the young man to handle.
Dilan Valentine: Let’s take another look at how the tide turned here.
(Slow motion replay of Pio Costa looking for the spinning heel kick on Mitchell Ryan, only to be decked by the monster with an unusual tackle that sent the Italian to the canvas.)
Leo Criss: This was a work of art!
(Footage changes to Mitchell Ryan delivering a hellacious Spinebuster in the middle of the ring, leading to the pinfall.)
Lori Swick: That was all she wrote. One. Two. Three. Impactful debut for Mitchell Ryan here in SWWS.
(Camera comes back to the live action, as Mitchell Ryan and Ramesses leading the way up the ramp, with Kimberly Chase and Alandra laughing still over the finish of the contest. Ryan raises his hand high before exiting to the back with the rest of his teammates. The shot fades out as the four of them have disappeared through the curtain.)
Lori Swick: Now this next contest is set to be a very fast paced, very intense one showcasing three of the incredible talents our partners at Kazoka have to offer. Three women who normally compete in separate divisions all come together for this match. A rivalry will be renewed, and a statement will surely be made.
Dilan Valentine: You are 100% correct there Lori, so without any further adieu let’s take this to the ring where we have our ring announcer and special guest for the introductions.
Ring Announcer: The following match is a KAZOKA SHOWCASE!! Scheduled for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit, the winner will be determined by pinfall or submission only! Introducing at this time to present the competitors, MARIONETTE!!
(The announcer steps out of the ring, giving the floor to the diminutive but adorable looking Marionette, who smiles and waves at the cheering fans before proceeding with her job.)
Marionette: アメリカ、アナハイムのご列席の皆様、カゾカならではの素晴らしい才能をご紹介します!まず、船橋の一番暗いところから!彼女はカゾカの悪魔の王女、ダークメイデンです!
(The ominous sounds of ‘Desire’ begin to be heard across the arena, the lights going out save for a crimson spotlight at the top of the stage. The crowd fall to a hush until the lights flicker and the silhouette of the Dark Maiden appears to a chorus of boos. Reaching the lace gloved hand toward the ring, she balls it into a fist, slamming it down before making her way down the ramp.)
Lori Swick: Dark Maiden, though so many see her as this youth is a dangerous competitor with several years of experience in that squared circle. A respected judoka in her native country, she brings power, technique and an aura that makes the toughest take a step back in wonder.
(Continuing her march, she locks her gaze on the ring, paying no mind to the fans who have it out for her. Sliding in, she spins to a knee, taking a moment to bow her head before rising to her feet. The lights in the arena shift to a normal spotlight on her now, showcasing the devilish grin that causes the jeering to cease.)
Dilan Valentine: That is a woman you don’t want to cross, no matter what age her birth certificate dictates she is.
(As ‘Desire’ fades into ‘Last Game’ the crowd begins to cheer, the lights shifting to a soothing shade of aqua.)
Marionette: 次に紹介するのは、田原の力強いプライドです!強大な岩井めぐみです!
(The lovely Megumi Iwai makes her way out onto the stage, giving a bow to the applauding crowd before pointing to the skies so they may give her strength. Her point lowers to the awaiting Dark Maiden, a few words in her native tongue being yelled out to her younger opposition.)
Lori Swick: Megumi Iwai while looking like a fairy princess is anything but dainty and delicate as she will toss the greatest of opponents with ease in that ring. There’s no doubting why she is seen as the mighty pride of Kazoka and that will only be further proven with this match tonight.
(Stepping up and walking along the apron, Megumi bows her head across the top rope, before entering. She points up and out one final time in the center of the ring before going to her respective corner.)
Marionette: 最後に、逗子のレインボークイーンをご紹介します!彼女は愛らしい、悪質な、そして慈悲深いです!彼女はカマリです!
(As the last of Marionette’s words are spoken, rainbow strobes begin to be seen across the arena. The unique tune of ‘Masquerade~交響曲第25番~’ starts to play to a thunderous applause from the fans. As JULIA’s gorgeous vocals kick in, the colorful pixie makes her way onto the stage as only she can with a no-handed front flip, standing tall with her hooded face covered, and incredible baton wielding skill on display. Finishing it with a point of her own, Kamari lowers her hood to reveal a smiling face as the cheers grow louder.)
Lori Swick: Don’t be fooled by the smiling face, her size and the sparkles, Kamari is a deadly competitor with years of experience and a quick style that has only gotten sharpened over time. She’s a decorated champion for a reason and will showcase her talents with these two larger athletes to prove that she belongs in there with the all around best.
(Hopping up onto the apron now, Kamari heads to the nearest turnbuckle, placing her left on the second and right on the top, offering another smile as she points her baton out to the supportive crowd before aiming and ‘firing’ at her two opponents. Taking off her ring jacket, she leaps into the ring with a beautiful backflip, twirling her baton once more before handing it off to the ring attendant. As her music fades to silence, Marionette makes her way out of the ring, leaving the three to stare at one another.)
Triple Threat Kazoka Showcase: Dark Maiden vs. Kamari vs. Megumi Iwai
(DING DING DING!!!)
(The three women carefully circle around the ring, with Megumi calling for a test of strength. Dark Maiden calls out the bluff but little Kamari offers her hands to both women. Megumi grabs hold quickly, overpowering the single arm and bringing her down to a knee. When Dark Maiden tries to join in, grabbing at Kamari but she’s met with a kick to the midsection, the little lady then stomping on Megumi’s foot. She grabs hold of Dark Maiden’s hand, while still having Megumi and uses the ropes for a springboard double arm drag which gets a nice reaction from the fans. The ball of color bounces off the ropes next, nailing both her competitors with a front dropkick. Kipping up to her feet, she gives a little bow before running again, this time nailing Megumi with a headscissors takedown to more applause.)
Lori Swick: This right here is the bubbly Kamari’s playground. She may look like a cute doll, but underneath that is a very credible high speed wrestler and she’s showcasing that in the early going’s of this match.
(Giving a cute little okay, she goes after Dark Maiden but as she aims for another headscissors takedown, the youngster lands on her feet and nearly takes Kamari’s head off with a boot. Offering the fans nothing more than a menacing glare, she yanks her colorful foe up by her short locks, dropping her right down with a snap powerbomb. Showing off her strength a bit, she holds on and deadlifts Kamari before viciously throwing her out of the ring through the middle rope, the aerialist landing rough on the thin padding below. Wiping her hands, the young woman spits venom at the downed rainbow before turning her attention to Megumi who has returned to a vertical base and steps up to the Dark Maiden.)
Dilan Valentine: Oh now this is going to be something. From what I’ve been told and seen, these two have had their fair share of issues over the years so you know they won’t be pulling any punches here.
(The two women go face to face, each yanking at the hair of the other before pulling back. The younger competitor goes for a strike, but gets cut off by a stiff palm strike from the larger Megumi which barely causes a stagger, Dark Maiden screaming in response before returning the favor. The two women go strike for strike without letting up. Dark Maiden tries to switch it up, looking for a spinning backfist. However, she gets caught and lifted with ease, Megumi applying the Canadian Backbreaker for a moment before using her base to halt the struggle from the young Maiden and swinging into a modified neckbreaker, going for the cover right after.)
Referee: ONE! TWO!-
(Dark Maiden gets her shoulder up emphatically, a near demonic scream accompanying the denial of victory. Megumi motions that it was three before giving her opponent a hard slap across the stomach, which elicits a glare from the young woman. Giving a few more slaps to the back of the head, Megumi brings her back to her feet, whipping her off the ropes. Looking for the backbreaker, Megumi is stopped by a back elbow from the dark one who flipped onto her feet mid hold. The Maiden follows it up with an impressive judo throw on her larger opponent, not letting up for a second as she goes for the Kubi-Hishigi, looking for the submission.)
Leo Criss: What a devastating looking hold, this could be it people!
Lori Swick: You’re not wrong there Leo. The Kubi-Hishigi is a grueling hold used in Dark Maiden’s trained discipline so for her to utilize this shows she’s ready to end this one.
(Megumi struggles in the hold, only to find that the younger grappler adds extra torque with the grapevine. The official checks to see if Megumi wants to give up. Just as her hand goes up, looking to tap, Kamari leaps from the top rope with a very stiff dropkick to the back of Dark Maiden’s head, causing the hold to break!!!)
Dilan Valentine: Kamari saving the match right there with a beautiful dropkick to Dark Maiden.
Lori Swick: It’s no question that if Maiden kept that hold on any longer that Megumi would have been forced to tap out or pass out.
(Megumi rolls to the outside, a dazed Maiden trying to catch her to no avail. Watching her flop to the outside brings another primal scream from the young who turns her attention to the charging Kamari. A simple glare from her brings the high speed dash to a halt, the rainbow girl offering a smile and cute chuckle to back off her larger opponent. Dark Maiden is having none of it as she grabs at the hair of Kamari. The smaller woman breaks the hold with a stomp to the foot, kicking Maiden in the mid-section before bouncing off the ropes and delivering a quick, devastating Rainbob-omb (Running Cartwheel Powerbomb), a look of surprise on the face of the tiny terror who goes for the cover.)
Dilan Valentine: Rainbob-omb! This could be it!
Referee: ONE! TWO! TH-
(Again the Maiden with a strong kick-out, which has her opponent shaking her head in disbelief. Holding the back of her head as she gets back up, Kamari begins stomping at Dark Maiden, doing her best to keep her down. Seeing that while feeling it, that the young woman is still working her way up, Kamari delivers one more kick, before leaping to her second home of the top rope.)
Leo Criss: Rainbow Brite’s climbing up! Dark Maiden needs to hurry up and cut that crayon box down!
(Just as Dark Maiden reaches a full vertical base, Kamari claps her hands together before taking the leap, nailing a gorgeous moonsault and hanging onto Maiden for the stacked pin.)
Referee: ONE! TWO! THR--
(A rolling senton from Megumi breaks up the cover, the impact causing an anguished yell from the little lady. Megumi is slow to her feet, but drags Kamari up with her, slapping her face several times before lifting her up and driving her to the canvas with a high angled Sambo Suplex. Rather than go for the cover, Megumi again tugs at the locks of Kamari, bringing her up and locking in a bear hug. Just as she wraps her arms around the small frame, a desperate Kamari rings her bell with an ear slap, following it up with a jumping Snap DDT, all three women trying to recover.)
Lori Swick: With all three competitors down, this is the time where grit and determination comes into play.
Dilan Valentine: Absolutely, it will be very telling who gets to their feet first here.
(Dark Maiden is the first to her feet, making a beeline for the smallest competitor, but Kamari brings the fans to life with a kip up, immediately rocking the young Maiden with a stiff forearm she throws all her weight into, quickly bringing her down with a kneeling facebuster right after. Screaming out to the crowd, the adorable rainbow girl signals for the end.)
Dilan Valentine: Kamari’s got something on her mind. Could it be time for the Rain Drop Special or a sprinkle of Pixie Dust?
Leo Criss: Can we stop with Skittles and her cutesy names for things here?
(Making her way back to the top, Kamari points out her victim of choice. As she goes to grab onto her though, the crowd has a curious reaction, their collective focus on the end of the walkway. Kamari turns her gaze that way to see the masked shadow Seiya standing there with a devious smile on her face.)
Dilan Valentine: Whoa, whoa. What is going on here?
Lori Swick: I don’t know Dilan. I mean I know that woman is Seiya, but she’s not one of the talents set to come over from Kazoka Wrestling.
(Seiya slowly approaches the ring, but rather than get inside, she produces an envelope from behind her back that reads in bold black letters “カマリの真実” (The Truth of Kamari) which brings about a confused expression from her. Seiya opens up the envelope, first revealing a picture of Kamari and another young woman from what looks like some time ago, the second showing her alone by the shore. Both cause Kamari to yell out, the second leaving her stunned and ready to leave the ring. Just as she goes to rush after Seiya, she feels a harsh tug at her, Dark Maiden lifting her up in a half nelson, turning her in and slamming her hard with a sitout driver, immediately going for the cover.)
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!
(DING DING DING!!!)
Ring Announcer: HERE IS YOUR WINNER.. DAAAAARRK MAAAAIIIIIDEEENN!!!
Lori Swick: Impressive win here by Dark Maiden, but one has to ask what exactly is going on here?
Dilan Valentine: I think we’re about to find out..
(Back over at ringside, Seiya has made her way into the ring, several masked associates surrounding each side. She approaches Kamari who is trying to recover, holding her neck in pain. Giving a disappointed shake of the head, the masked woman allows the little one to rise, Kamari stepping right to her face. Before words can be exchanged, Megumi clobbers Kamari from behind, Seiya side stepping and watching on in laughter. Soon the entire group swarms her with stomps and kicks. Seiya watches on before producing some wire from her gear, yelling at those all around before wrapping it around Kamari’s neck, choking the life out of her with it.)
Leo Criss: Come on, this is too much, even for me. Someone needs to get out here and help this girl!
(Seiya yells over at Dark Maiden to join in on the attack, the young woman staring arms crossed. As a step is made, out from the back come White Rose, Hazuki, YOKAI, Mei and Terumi. The group chase away the attackers, Dark Maiden watching on carefully before exiting on her own, away from all involved. White Rose yells for Seiya to return while the others check on Kamari. The masked one simply laughs before walking over to the executive’s table, slamming down the envelope, along with a second one, quickly making her way to the back right after.)
Leo Criss: ...You know normally I got something, but I.. I’m at a loss people.
Intermission - 20 Minutes
(We’re back to ringside, as the executives find their way back to the desk at ringside.)
Dilan Valentine: Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. We’re still trying to figure out what just took place. The executives were backstage for quite some time. Whatever was in that letter seemed to really get to them.
Lori Swick: All four of them looked to be red in the face. Whether it was fear, anger, sadness, everything was a weird mix.
Dilan Valentine: Alright, let’s get back to the action. Sorry guys.
(‘Fire’ starts up as the arena lights dim down with a dark bluish glow across the stage to a loud reaction from the audience. Smoke engulfs the top of the stage as MYOJIN begins to ascend from below the stage. Upon reaching the stopping point, the intense blue lights flash around them to a huge ovation from the audience. It continues strobing around the Shining Star as they make their way onto the ramp.)
Ring Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a thirty minute time limit!! Introducing first, fighting out of Namba, Osaka, Japan.. Weighing in at 165lbs..THEEEEEEEEEEEEEE SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR…. MYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOJIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!!!!!!!!!
(What an amazing ovation for the X*Crown Champion, MYOJIN makes their way down to the ring, with each step seemingly drawing the lights dimmer. By the time they reach the bottom, one final step leads to the lights completely blacking out.)
Dilan Valentine: I can barely hear myself think here.. What just happened?
(A bright spotlight arrives in the middle of the ring, with MYOJIN standing underneath it in a strong pose. The crowd erupts in cheers for them as the light begins to strobe the dark blue and white for them. With a confident expression on their face, the lights are slowly coming back to normal.)
Lori Swick: What an entrance!
Dilan Valentine: MYOJIN is one amazing competitor inside of the ring. Don’t let the special effects and exterior fool you, they are one of the toughest wrestlers inside of the ring, with a never give up attitude, and devastating kicks to boot!
(The music fades out as loud chants of ‘MYOJIN, MYOJIN’ are coming from the audience. The Shining Star peers out at the crowd. The relaxed look turns disgusted as the obnoxious beginning of ‘Dead Alert’ hits the speakers. Dim lighting is followed by the bright golden lights surrounding the entire arena as Kimberly Chase and Alandra make their way out onto the stage to a chorus of boos. Ramesses is following them out, with Mitchell Ryan approaching behind them. Kimberly holds a case in her hands while Mitchell crouches down.)
Ring Announcer: And their opponent, fighting out of Newport Beach, California.. Weighing in at 230lbs.. HE IS THE SEXUAL TITAN… RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMESSESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
(Just as his name is said, Mitchell Ryan lifts Ramesses up onto his shoulders. Kimberly and Alandra hold the case, opening it to reveal the Legacy Gauntlet. Kimberly picks it up from the case, aiming it away from Ramesses, allowing the Sexual Titan to slide his hand in, wearing the Gauntlet. The case is tossed aside as the four make their way down to the ring. The uber confident expression is beaming from him while they head down to the ring. Upon reaching the ring, Ramesses steps up onto the apron, showcasing the Gauntlet on his hand.)
Dilan Valentine: Ugh, I hate these guys.
(Entering the ring to a terrible reaction, Ramesses looks over at MYOJIN, turning his back to the Shining Star while raising the Gauntlet, palm out at the crowd. Kimberly, Alandra, and Mitchell follow suit, raising their hands in the same manner.)
Lori Swick: I can’t get over the attitudes of these four. They haven’t exactly been setting the world on fire with their matches, but act as if they are the biggest stars the industry has ever seen.
Leo Criss: Say what you want about them, but look at that Gauntlet on his hand. This man is the defending Legacy Gauntlet Champion. He did what only a few before him could do. Plus, he carries it with such pride!
(Removing the Gauntlet from his hand, he gives it over to Kimberly to prepare for the match with the Shining Star.)
Singles Match: MYOJIN vs. Ramesses
(DING DING DING!)
(No time to wait here, MYOJIN looks to be ready to square off. Ramesses, not so much. He circles the ring briefly, stalling any action by testing each rope along the way.)
Dilan Valentine: Come on. If he wasn’t ready, he should have come out first.
(MYOJIN eyeballs the Sexual Titan, who simply smiles before circling the ring once again. Both look to be ready finally..and they lock up in the center of the ring. Ramesses tries to overpower MYOJIN, but the Shining Star has other ideas, quickly going behind Ramesses. The grip is in, but Ramesses is able to break it promptly into a standing switch. The waistlock is applied, this time from Ramesses, who lifts MYOJIN up, and throws him down to the canvas to the applause of the Inevitable members. MYOJIN sits up, glancing over at Ramesses, then at the other three before climbing back to their feet.)
Leo Criss: And just like that, Ramesses has shown his dominance in the ring!
(The two circle the ring once again, this time MYOJIN steps in promptly with the collar and elbow lock up. Ramesses quickly takes advantage by maneuvering his way into a top wristlock on the Shining Star. MYOJIN loses his momentum briefly by arching back from the struggle. By the time they are reaching the canvas, the neck of MYOJIN is supporting all of his weight in attempt to keep his shoulders off the canvas. The fire inside of the Shining Star brings them back to their feet, dropping back quickly into an arm drag, sending Ramesses to the canvas. The two are back up promptly, leading to MYOJIN charging in, being met with an arm drag from Ramesses. Back up again, MYOJIN charges in, seeing Ramesses go for another arm drag, but the Shining Star stops in his tracks, forcing Ramesses to twist himself over, hitting the canvas chest first from missing the arm drag. He bounces up to a knee, only to take a charging kick across the back from MYOJIN!)
Dilan Valentine: Oh! You could hear that all the way to the nose bleeds!!
(Ramesses holds his back, cringing at the kick. He turns to MYOJIN, only to be met with a series of roundhouse kicks to the legs and chest of the Sexual Titan. Ramesses manages to cover up after a few hits, but MYOJIN is too fast for him. MYOJIN looks for the spinning back fist, but Ramesses ducks out of the way. A high roundhouse kick from Ramesses is ducked under by MYOJIN. The two are exchanging kicks, but neither one of them are connecting the way they’d like. They both jump up, attempting a dropkick, but neither one connects. Both kneel up, ready to fight to a thunderous ovation from the audience.)
Leo Criss: That isn’t at all what people expected to happen between these two!
(MYOJIN looks confident while they circle the ring..and doesn’t see a blind sided forearm across the side of the head from Ramesses! Down goes the Shining Star! Ramesses is laying in the stomps to them, with each stomp growing stronger than the last. He charges off into the ropes, and leaps up during the return, landing a flying knee drop across the skull of the Shining Star! Ramesses immediately swings himself over into the cover.)
Referee: One!!
(MYOJIN promptly kicks out, trying to rethink their strategy. Ramesses pulls them up, hooking them in for a side suplex, Up goes MYOJIN..Down goes MYOJIN by shifting their weight to hit the canvas. They twist under the arm of Ramesses, looking to bring him down with a Fujiwara armbar. Ramesses does everything he can to keep the arm bent to his liking, rolling forward, swinging the legs up into MYOJIN, who quickly snaps in a side leglock in the middle of the ring!!!)
Dilan Valentine: Ramesses made that simple mistake, you cannot overlook the abilities that MYOJIN has inside of the ring!
(Ramesses reaches for MYOJIN, only for the legs to be crossed over into a modified Indian deathlock! Kimberly Chase is pushing on the bottom rope in an attempt to get it closer to the Sexual Titan. He can’t quite get to it, however. Ramesses tries reaching back to no avail, but manages to swing his body over with his weight advantage. He rolls the Indian Deathlock over several times in order to find himself in the ropes.)
Lori Swick: Interesting way to get to the ropes. MYOJIN had the hold applied just fine, but it was the near 70lbs of weight difference that got Ramesses to the ropes. Kimberly didn’t hurt matters either, sadly.
(MYOJIN is back to their feet, lining up Ramesses for kick, but they sees Kimberly inching closer to the apron once again. They charge in, kicking at the ropes to scare off Kimberly, only for Ramesses to charge up, leaping over the top rope with double knees across the neck of MYOJIN, driving them throat first into the rope rope!! Ramesses manages to hang onto the top rope, sitting on the apron with a smile on his face as all the Inevitable members cheer him on.)
Ramesses (Off-Mic): THIS IS TOO EASY!!!
(The Sexual Titan finds himself back on the apron, watching MYOJIN struggle to breathe on the canvas. He springboards to the top rope, posing for a moment before diving off with a high elevation elbow drop to the Shining Star!! He immediately gets to his feet, posing for the crowd with his back turned to MYOJIN, rolling backwards onto his hands, entering a reverse handstand into a corkscrew senton splash!!! MYOJIN is in trouble, while Ramesses gets in for a tight cover.)
Referee: ONE!! TWO!!
(MYOJIN is able to kick out, holding their throat still from the earlier attack. Ramesses looks at the referee, frustrated at the slow count. He looks down at MYOJIN, face washing them while they are down. Laughter comes from the Inevitable members while the Sexual Titan continues to shout insults at the fallen star of Osaka.)
Dilan Valentine: Ramesses is in firm control here, but the look on MYOJIN’s face tells a different story. There is anger coming out of their eyes. They want to shut this guy up!
(MYOJIN’s frustration is beginning to show, but Ramesses won’t relent. More face washes, and MYOJIN rises to their feet. The reigning holder of the Legacy Gauntlet pulls them up, gripping the chin of MYOJIN, and follows up with a vicious open hand slap across the face! A second slap connects! Ramesses looks for a third slap, seeing an intense glare from the Shining Star, causing him to pause. MYOJIN fires in a spinning back kick to the chest, followed by an open handed uppercut! Ramesses staggers back, and is met with a vicious open hand slap across the face by MYOJIN, leading to an angry scream from Kimberly Chase. MYOJIN swings high for a right hand, but Ramesses ducks, only to be met with a spinning heel kick from the Shining Star!!! Ramesses hits the canvas, and MYOJIN flips himself into the gainer, landing a standing Shooting Star Press on the Sexual Titan!! MYOJIN looks for the cover!!)
Referee: ONE!!! TWO!!!
(A desperate kick out from Ramesses, his bell seems to be rung from the uppercut earlier on. MYOJIN looks to be ready to put this one away! They struggle to pull Ramesses to his feet, MYOJIN hooks around his neck, looking for the cravate.)
Lori Swick: This could lead to something really disastrous for Ramesses, MYOJIN is looking for the Flashing Lights!!
(MYOJIN takes a few steps forward before leaping up over the shoulders of Ramesses, but shockingly enough, Ramesses actually backflips with MYOJIN, sending them down to the canvas with Ramesses landing on both of the legs of the Shining Star for the cover!!!)
Referee: ONE!!! TWO!!! THR…
(MYOJIN shoves Ramesses off, rolling quickly to a knee...RAMESSES FOLLOWS IN WITH A SPINNING KICK TO THE KNEELING MYOJIN AND DELIVERS THE HIT PARADE!!!! RAMESSES COLLAPSES AGAINST THE TOP ROPE AFTER HITTING IT!!!)
Dilan Valentine: THE HIT PARADE CONNECTS!!! THIS IS USUALLY THE SET UP FOR THE PLATINUM PRESS!!!!
(Ramesses stumbles back to the corner, looking at the prone MYOJIN on the canvas. He stumbles through the ropes, climbing to the top rope with the support of the Inevitable..He’s teasing it..and sees that MYOJIN is slowly getting to their feet. Shouting to himself, Ramesses dives off the ropes at the Shining Star...ONLY TO BE LEVELED WITH THE KISS AND TELL FROM MYOJIN!!!!)
Lori Swick: I’VE NEVER SEEN HIM DO THAT TO A FLYING OPPONENT, DILAN!!! NORMALLY THAT’S RESERVED FOR KNEELING OPPONENTS!!
(Ramesses crumbles to the canvas, motionless near the corner. MYOJIN sees the opportunity and kicks the Sexual Titan onto his back before scaling the ropes. Upon reaching the top rope, the audience rises in cheers for the Shining Star as they leap backwards into a reverse gainer...AND FALLS FROM HEAVEN RIGHT ONTO THE RIBS OF RAMESSES!!! MYOJIN QUICKLY HOOKS BOTH LEGS TIGHTLY FOR THE COVER!!!)
Referee: ONE!!! TWO!!! THREE!!!!
(DING DING DING!!!!)
Dilan Valentine: DID YOU SEE THAT???
(‘Fire’ hits the speakers for the winner of the contest. MYOJIN rolls off of Ramesses, holding his ribs from the impact of the amazing inverted 450 splash that sealed the deal.)
Ring Announcer: HERE IS YOUR WINNER.. THEEEEEEEE SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR…. MYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOJIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!!!!!
Lori Swick: I have to give it up for both of them in this match. MYOJIN is a star, they are phenomenal inside of the ring, Ramesses put up a hell of a fight.. In the end though, it was the Shining Star’s moment in the sun.
Leo Criss: There were a lot of distractions. Kimberly may have twisted her ankle outside of the ring, which led to Ramesses being worried about her wellbeing. This match should have ended right then and there with a no-contest. I’m calling shenanigans on this one.
Dilan Valentine: Will you stop?
(MYOJIN’s hand is raised by the referee, but they can’t help but look over at Ramesses who is struggling to slide out of the ring. He lands in the arms of Mitchell and Alandra, muttering something to himself about the uppercut. He shoots a glance over at MYOJIN while being helped up the ramp, giving a brief nod before Kimberly runs up to return the Gauntlet to the Sexual Titan. Unable to even put it on, Ramesses just carries the Gauntlet with the three, disappearing through the curtain.)
Dilan Valentine: Let’s take a look at some of the key factors in this match.
(Footage shows the combination strikes coming from MYOJIN, leading to the open handed uppercut that landed flush on the jaw of Ramesses. The next shot shows Ramesses delivering the Hit Parade on MYOJIN. The Kiss and Tell seemingly won the match for MYOJIN, but it was Falling From Heaven that eventually put the match to a close.
Back inside of the ring, MYOJIN looks to the crowd, giving a bow to each side of the rail. The loud chants of ‘MYOJIN, MYOJIN’ continue as the Shining Star makes his exit from the ring before the shot fades out.)
Announcement
“Unpredictable”
(Cesar La Rocha is shown throwing Ricky Gabriel over the top rope, eliminating him from the first ever Legacy Gauntlet.)
“Uncontrollable”
(DEATH, using his 7’2” frame to intimidate the opposition, is surrounded by four wrestlers, only for them to be eliminated one by one.)
“Unbelievable”
(Eddy Cavalera delivers a Slash Kick, knocking Horus over the top rope to eliminate him to become the first ever Legacy Gauntlet winner.)
“30 will compete to win their Legacy Gauntlet, representing the Blitzkrieg brand”
(Shots of MYOJIN, Theodor Pavel, Revolucha, Edward Cronin, Nikos Mantzios, Matt Knox, Guthrie Graupe, Seizonsha, Andrej Jankovic, and Ramesses are shown.)
“30 more will compete to win their Legacy Gauntlet, representing the Paradigm brand.”
(Shots of Dark Maiden, Ava, Masumi Sun, Kimberly Chase, Seyong, YOKAI, Lucrezia La Princesa, Kamile Sokovic, Kamari, Athena Daze, and the Crimson Bouquet are shown.)
“All to determine the first World Champions of their brands.”
(The Championships are finally revealed for the first time ever. 30 pounds of gold each, bringing the stakes up to new levels.)
“The Legacy Gauntlet VII.. Universal Studios.. September 23rd.. Live and only on Discord.”
Dilan Valentine: Wow, now that’s amazing! We’re going to be going live, exclusively on Discord on September 23rd for the Legacy Gauntlet VII. This is an amazing announcement!
Lori Swick: With so much history in this event, I’m astounded that we’re finally getting a chance to see not one, but two of those matches!
Leo Criss: It’ll be a star studded affair out at Universal Studios. Do you think Margot Robbie will be there??
Dilan Valentine: One can hope!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Ring Announcer: The following contest is an eight man tag team showcase, scheduled for one fall with a thirty minute time limit!!
(‘The Stroke’ hits the speakers to a modest reaction from the audience. Out from the curtain steps the former NHL enforcer, Edward Cronin. Cronin, showing zero fear of what’s to come in the match, makes his way down the ramp with a sneer across his face.)
Ring Announcer: Introducing first, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nevada. Weighing in at 240lbs, HE IS THE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEENACE OF THE IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE… EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDWARRRRRRD CROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONIN!!!!!
(Cronin continues his path down to the ring. The former Vancouver Canuck walks up the steps to the apron, climbing into the ring with his mean mug intact while he glares around at the audience.)
Dilan Valentine: This is a surprising appearance for Edward Cronin. When he’s not breaking jaws in SWWS, he’s off picking fights at any bar he can find. Tonight, it appears he has found the fight.
(‘Run..Run..Hide’ hits the speakers, causing Cronin to look toward the ramp. Stepping through the curtains, donning the Mexican flags draped across their shoulders are Jose and Jorge Rivera, the bastards from Juarez. They look to be fired up, trash talking the fans on their way to the ring.)
Ring Announcer: And his tag team partners, first..Fighting out of Juarez, Mexico, At a total combined weight of 429lbs… JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGE… JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSE… THEY ARE…. REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVOLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCHA!!!!!!
(The intensity in their eyes tell the story, the brothers Rivera circle the ring before climbing onto the apron, and enter the ring to a pretty good reaction from the nostalgic audience.)
Lori Swick: I think these two have always been the dark horses when a promotion opens up this way. Jorge and Jose Rivera have been Tag Team Champions in every company they’ve ever been in. Intense, violent, and not afraid to throw down verbally, Revolucha is here in Anaheim!!
(The Riveras circle the ring, flashing their Mexican flag to anyone with their eyes open. A small ‘Revolucha’ chant kicks off, but the Riveras have other plans.)
Jose Rivera: MAN, SHUT THE FUCK UP!
(‘Man Who Sold The World’ hits the speakers to a great reaction from the audience. The patriarch of the House of Paine, Bison Paine himself makes his way out onto the stage. The crowd sings along with the song.)
Ring Announcer: And their tag team partner, fighting out of Chicago, Illinois. Weighing in at 270lbs.. BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAINE!!!!!!!!!!!
(A huge ovation for the legendary 19 year veteran as Paine slowly makes his way down to the ring. The big guy out of Chicago walks up the steps to the apron, climbing into the ring with an intense glare at the three inside. Thunderous chants of ‘Bison, Bison’ are heard, leading to a nod from him.)
Dilan Valentine: A lot of respect shown to this man. One of the founders of the House of Paine Academy, Bison Paine is a former World Heavyweight Champion who can match hold for hold, punch for punch, with anyone who comes his way.
(Paine circles the ring, noticing that his chants were slowly beginning to fade as his song follows suit. Slow, elongated chants of ‘IRRRRRRON HEEEEEARTS’ surround the four audibly inside of the ring. It was the calm before the storm.)
Leo Criss: This place is going to blow..
(Lights in the arena completely go out as the cheering grows louder.
‘Sonne’ hits the speakers, with that dreaded countdown…
Eins..
Zwei..
Drei..
Vier..
Fünf..
Sechs..
Sieben..
Acht..
Neun..
Loud sirens take over the speakers, coinciding with the song.
Aus
The instrumentals of the song kick in, showing the four Iron Hearts standing on the top of the ramp. Theodor Pavel, Nikos Mantzios, Andrej Jankovic, and Guthrie Graupe intently watch the ring. Mantzios is the first to make his way to the ring, immediately followed by Graupe, Jankovic, and Pavel.
Ring Announcer: And their opponents.. They are the defenders, They are the protectors, They are the Lords of Anaheim tonight.. They Are THE IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRON HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEARTS!!!!
The Honda Center has come unglued for these four men as they continue their march down to the ring. Mantzios stops at the bottom of the ramp while Graupe and Jankovic take the right side of the ring, Pavel taking the left side. Before their opposition can react, all four Iron Hearts have surrounded the ring, climbing onto the apron. Without a moments hesitation, they climb into the ring, causing the other four to back up out of their way. The Iron Hearts converge in the corner, taking their ring jackets off and handing them out as the chants grow louder.)
Dilan Valentine: I can’t hear a damn thing right now.
Lori Swick: These are four men who came up through the ranks in the House of Paine Academy. All of them are just as dangerous as the one before them, this is going to be incredible!
(Jose Rivera talks over strategy with his team, agreeing to start the match tonight. On the other side of the ring, Guthrie Graupe has agreed to kick the match off for the Iron Hearts as the remaining six men exit the ring to their respective corners.)
Eight Man Tag Team Match: Bison Paine, Edward Cronin, & Revolucha vs. The Iron Hearts
(DING DING DING!!)
Dilan Valentine: You can feel the energy in the air here in Anaheim.
(Jose Rivera and Guthrie Graupe circle the ring briefly. Jose, the most technically proficient of the team, locks up with Graupe in the center. He immediately looks for an early advantage on Graupe, scooting behind into a hammerlock. Graupe glances down and around to scout the hold, but the wrench on the arm causes him to wince briefly. Jose tries to take down Graupe from behind, but the German keeps his legs at enough of a distance to where he’s leaning back, He locks his hands behind him, swinging his leg over to face Jose, breaking the hammerlock. This allows Graupe to reverse the hold into an arm wrench. Jose struggles in the hold, reaching for Graupe, who wrenches deep on the hold. Jose winces in the hold, dropping to a knee. He spins around under the arm of Graupe, using his free hand to deliver a front handspring into a reversal of the arm wrench from Graupe.)
Lori Swick: These are two pretty dangerous mat wrestlers feeling each other out.
(Jose uses Graupe’s own momentum to attempt a keylock, bringing the Iron Heart down to a knee. Jose gets a bit confident, possibly too confident as his grip isn’t quite firm enough to keep Graupe down for long, allowing him to twist over into a side headlock, taking Jose over into the takedown, applying the grounded headlock instead. Jose kicks his legs up, attempting for a headscissors, but Graupe keeps his head far enough away to avoid the hold. Graupe moves himself toward the side, rolling backwards onto his shoulders to apply all kinds of pressure on the neck of Jose Rivera. Unfortunately, his shoulders are down.)
Referee: One!! Two!!! Thr-!!!
(Playing with the idea, Graupe drops backward, dragging Jose Rivera down onto his stomach. Both men sprawl the mat with the headlock firmly applied. Graupe tucks his chin down, getting underneath the arm of Jose, pressing his shoulder in the wing of the arm, forcing pressure on it as Jose begins to shout in agony! The referee is quick to step in and check, Jose seems to be in trouble early on here! Rather than forcing the match to end early, Graupe releases the hold and climbs to a vertical base. Jose is back up as well, holding his arm from the possible hyperextension of the elbow. The two exchange looks, and Jose tags out to his brother, Jorge. The bigger of the two brothers, Jorge Rivera is a bruiser. He can throw the hard punches, something Graupe has issues with. Rather than continuing the fight, Graupe steps back, tagging in his brother-in-arms.. Nikos Mantzios.)
Dilan Valentine: Nikos Mantzios, the pride of Cyprus has entered the match. One of the most prolific amateur boxers ever to come out of Europe, this flashy competitor has no problem throwing hands with anyone who is willing to face him.
(Nikos, all smiles, circles the ring with Jorge Rivera. Some trash talking from Jorge, but all it drew was a bigger smile. They circle the ring with each other.)
Jorge Rivera: I’m sick of your fucking smile!! Toughen up!!
(A hard slap from Jorge Rivera to Nikos Mantzios!! Jorge is fuming at him, shouting trash talk at him. The smile remains on the face of Nikos, until noticing the rights and lefts being thrown at him by one half of Revolucha. Using his expertise, Nikos backs up, avoiding nearly every punch that comes his way. Jorge continues throwing the punches, unable to land a single blow. The punches grow slower until Jorge finally acknowledges that he’s had enough. Nikos looks toward Jorge, giving a sudden jab to take down the bigger Rivera.)
Nikos Mantzios: It’s okay! You did your best!
(Angered by the comment, Jorge marches back to his feet, running Nikos into the corner with a series of shoulder thrusts to the abdominal region. He goes for a final one, but Nikos simply hops up, sitting on the top rope with a grin. Jorge swings at him, but Nikos blocks the punch, grabbing the arm and swings off with Jorge into a tornado single-arm DDT! That was enough for Jorge to crawl over to his corner, reaching up. Edward Cronin tags himself in.)
Dilan Valentine: Here comes the Menace himself, Edward Cronin. One of the baddest men in the locker room. He isn’t afraid to fight anybody.
(Nikos casually walks over to the corner, tagging in Theodor Pavel. Theodor, getting a great reaction from the loyal fans in Anaheim.)
Lori Swick: Oh they love Theodor here. He actually owns a home with his wife, Misaki just minutes down the road from this venue. They love themselves some Theodor.
(Theodor takes his time climbing into the ring. Cronin charges in quickly, gripping the waist of the Hands of Ice, sending him to the canvas!!! Cronin tries to gain any advantage he can, but Theodor is able to pull full guard. This will not go well for the NHL Bruiser. Frustration sets in on Cronin, who tries to escape the guard, but Theodor has the body scissors fully applied! Cronin manages to get to his feet, trying to rain down punches on Theodor, who is able to cover himself up. The Hands of Ice quickly breaks the scissors, kicking a leg behind the knee of Cronin, and pushes him off with a kick to the gut to send Cronin to the canvas.)
Dilan Valentine: This was not a wise move by Edward Cronin, guys.
(Both are back on their feet, with Theodor getting into a proper stance. They circle the ring briefly, with Cronin putting up his dukes in an attempt to try and fight Theodor straight up. Cronin looks for a right, and takes A SNAPPING LEG KICK FROM THEODOR!!! Cronin stumbles back, holding his leg in pain.)
Cronin: Alright.. Alright..
(Cronin is trying to kick some feeling into his leg. Knowing better than to attack Theodor with those kicks of his, he shakes his head in frustration yet laughing along the way.)
Cronin: No, I’m done with you. You play too rough. Bring in the big guy.
Leo Criss: Wait, is he serious?
(Theodor can’t help but smile, obliging to Cronin and proceeds to back up to his corner. He looks at Andrej Jankovic, shrugging with a grin on his face as he tags in the big guy. The crowd erupts with ‘OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHs’ from the audience as the undefeated colossus climbs into the ring.)
Dilan Valentine: I think he’s going to regret this decision. Andrej Jankovic, since his debut in 2018, has never had his shoulders on the mat for anything more than a one count, much less a pinfall loss. The pride of Kiev is ready to do something big.
(Jankovic starts walking towards Edward Cronin, who backs away slightly. Jose and Jorge Rivera climb into the ring, ready to help Cronin. Graupe and Nikos find their way into the ring, along with Theodor. Bison Paine finally steps into the ring. He moves Cronin aside, staring down Jankovic. It’s four on four inside the ring.)
Leo Criss: Oh boy..
(All eight man begin brawling in the middle of the ring!!! Nikos battles it out with Jose Rivera, Graupe is battling Jorge, Theodor and Cronin, Bison and Jankovic!!! It’s looking like a pretty even contest, but something says that the Iron Hearts are just adapting to what the opponents are throwing at them. Paine catches Jankovic with a hard elbow to the side of the head. The veteran charges back, looking for distance as he looks for the Big Boot. JANKOVIC TAKES DOWN BISON PAINE WITH A T-BONE SUPLEX!!! THE REST SEE JANKOVIC FIRED UP, AND HAVE JOINED IN THE ATTACK.. A SLEEPER SUPLEX FROM GUTHRIE GRAUPE TO JORGE RIVERA!!! THE OVERHEAD BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX FROM THEODOR TO EDWARD CRONIN, AND A SUDDEN BACKDROP DRIVER FROM NIKOS TO JOSE RIVERA!! MOST OF THE RING HAS CLEARED OUT AS THE IRON HEARTS HAVE TAKEN COMPLETE CONTROL!!!)
Dilan Valentine: This is going to wind up terrible for Edward Cronin. He’s the only one left in the ring with all four Iron Hearts!!
(Cronin stumbles to his feet...HE TAKES A GARGOYLE SUPLEX FROM GUTHRIE GRAUPE!!! GRAUPE, THEODOR, AND NIKOS LOOK OVER AT JANKOVIC, WHO DEADLIFTS EDWARD CRONIN… HE’S HOLDING THE BRUISER IN MID AIR FOR A GERMAN SUPLEX… THE CYPRUS KISS FROM NIKOS MANTZIOS TO CRONIN!! THE VIEW OF THE LIGHTS FROM THEODOR...JANKOVIC FINISHES THE JOB WITH THE GERMAN SUPLEX ON EDWARD CRONIN!!! HE’S BRIDGING IT!!)
Referee: ONE!!! TWO!!! THREE!!!
(DING DING DING!!!)
Dilan Valentine: What dominance!! Those men didn’t stand a chance!!
(The Iron Hearts stand tall inside of the ring here in Anaheim.)
Ring Announcer: HERE ARE YOUR WINNERS… THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIROOOOOOOOOOON HEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARTS!!!
(‘Sonne’ hits once again as the crowd cheers on one of the most dominant forces in SWWS. Jankovic doesn’t seem to be bothered, but the rest are amused by how smooth the match went. The Riveras and Bison Paine climb into the ring, facing off with them once more. Rather than a fight, the three shake the hands of the members of the Iron Hearts instead.)
Lori Swick: I appreciate how good those three are, but they were completely outmatched by the Iron Hearts tonight. Still, a great sign of respect from the veterans.
(Rather than joining them in the showing of respect, Edward Cronin slid out of the ring, stumbling towards the ramp. This drew the ire of all seven of the men in the ring. Cronin waved them off in anger while he slowly walked up the ramp.)
Dilan Valentine: What a weird sign of disrespect from the Menace,
(Cronin shrugs before disappearing through the curtain as the shot fades out to a commercial for upcoming live events for SWWS.)
(Back in the ring, we are joined once again by the announcer, who looks ready to introduce the hot crowd to the next contest.)
Ring Announcer: This next match is a FATAL FOUR WAY PARADIGM SHOWCASE MATCH scheduled for one fall!!
(The infectious beat of ‘Hello Bitches’ begins to pump its way through the sound system. Lights in varying hues of green and orange flash throughout the arena. The beginning of the lyrics brings the arrival of Seung onto the stage, accompanied by her managers Kim Se-hyung and Park Ji-seok and greeted to a mixed reaction from the fans.)
Ring Announcer: Introducing the first competitor.. Hailing from Busan, South Korea and being accompanied to the ring by Kim Se-hyung and Park Ji-seok, she is THHHHEEEEEEE BUUUUUUUUUSSSAAAAAAAAAANN BEEEEEEEAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUTTYYYYY, SEEEEEEEEEEEEUUUUUUUUUUUNNNGG!!!
Lori Swick: Seung here, no stranger to the limelight and pressure that a big time event brings, but she has her work cut out for her in this fatal four way.
(With Kim by their side, Seung and Park walk hand in hand down the ramp. When they reach the ring, Seung jumps up onto the apron with the added lift and support from Ji-seok. She then walks to the corner and does a maneuver around the post before stopping in the middle of the other side. Seung spreads her arms across the top rope and swirls her head down, pointing up at the rafters with her right hand and winking before stepping through the ropes. She does a pose in the center of the ring, as her managers cheer and then turns her attention to the ramp now as her music fades out.)
Ring Announcer: Making her way to the ring next, being accompanied by Reginald Baroni, she comes to us from Yorkshire, England. She is THHHEEEEEE DUUUUUUUTTTCHHHEEESSS OF THE SWWS, MIIIIIIIICHHHEEEEEELLLLLEEE JEEEEENNNKKIIIINNNNSSS!!!
(The tune of ‘Aria’ starts to play, immediately bringing out the duo of Michelle Jenkins and Reginald Baroni who are showered with boos and shouts of utter disdain from the crowd. Michelle looks around in mocking shock at the reaction before shushing the fans which just gets them to react even louder.)
Dilan Valentine: Michelle and Reginald are definitely getting love from the fans here in Anaheim tonight.
Leo Criss: These people wouldn’t know class even if it bashed them on their collective single skull!
(Linking arms with Baroni, the two then make their way down the ramp, with Jenkins staring at Seung unimpressed. As they reach the bottom of the ramp, Michelle calls at her boyfriend to help her up to the apron the same way Park did for Seung, as the Busan Beauty chuckles in amusement. After a slight hiccup, which garners laughter from the fans, Michelle adjusts her gear skort and enters the ring underneath the middle rope. She then walks to the center of the ring, striking what she yells is a better pose, before taking to her corner.)
Ring Announcer: Making her way to the ring next is a competitor who comes to us from San Diego, California by way of Namba, Osaka, Japan.. She is QUEEN GHIDORAH HERSELF, YYYYOOOOOOOOOOOOKKKAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIII!!!
(‘No Pain, No Game’ begins to be heard on the speakers as YOKAI comes out onto the stage. The blood-pumping, energetic riffs fill the arena which bring the crowd to life just as much as it does to the intense starlet who now has a smile on her face. She pretends to crack her neck, then her knuckles before full-on sprinting down the aisle, making sure to slap fives with fans along the way.)
Lori Swick: While she is the least experienced out of the women competing here tonight, YOKAI has made quite the name for herself in the world of mixed martial arts and has already made waves in wrestling with her work over at Joshi Extreme Takeover and Slaughterhouse Wrestling!
(YOKAI places a foot on the first steel step, looking around before bringing herself to the apron and jumping over the top rope. YOKAI climbs up the top turnbuckle while soaking in the audience's cheers and roars before jumping down into her corner, looking over her opponents as her music fades to silence. The fans growing cheers are already telling the tale of anticipation as the announcer readies for one more introduction.)
Ring Announcer: Now introducing the final competitor in the contest.. To be accompanied to the ring by her partner CRAZY VIOLET.. She is one half of THE CRIMSON BOUQUET, coming to us from Sweetwater, Texas.. This is the SWEEEEEEEEEETT IN SWEEEEEEETTWAAAAAAATTTTEEEEEERRRR, LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEE SSSAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNTTTT!!
(In time with the announcer, ‘Kingdom’ begins to blast through the speakers, as Lillie Saint makes her way through the curtain to the top of the ramp, hand in hand with her partner in crime, Crazy Violet. The two separate for just a second, joining back together in their trademark pinky square before linking up once again and heading down the rampway.)
Dilan Valentine: Now you want to talk about tough, you want to talk about potential, star power and a genuine soul, you look no further than Lillie Saint. A tenacious warrior, she always does her best to give her best and beyond, doing all that she can to put smiles on faces.
Lori Swick: Lillie is definitely someone to take seriously despite what some see as a child-like nature, but once that bell rings, for the most part, that all goes out the window. Lillie Saint is a champion in the making.
(Stopping at the bottom of the ramp after a playful tug back and forth between Lillie and Violet to show their appreciation to the crowd, she looks to each side to see which side is more enthusiastic. Giving her partner a big hug, the two split and Lillie follows over to the loudest section, circling the ring to that section before sitting on the ring apron. She leans back against the bottom rope, talking to a few audience members before saying "Wish Me Luck!" She grabs the top rope and starts skinning the cat, struggling along the way to the cheers of the fans before making it over the top rope into the ring to an ovation. She waves to the masses, even giving a joking bow before preparing herself for the match.)
Four Way Dance: YOKAI vs. Seung vs. Lillie Saint vs. Michelle Jenkins
(DING DING DING!!!)
(Each of the four competitors, who have taken a corner, stare one another down, the intensity building with each passing second. Clashing chants from the crowd showcase the support these competitors have built up over their varied times in the business.)
Dilan Valentine: The crowd seems split on this one and rightfully so. While three of the four have made their names elsewhere, they all have a stake in the area and the people who occupy it.
(Finally having enough of the anticipation, Lillie Saint gives a shrug of the shoulders before charging in, making a beeline for Seung while YOKAI charges after Michelle Jenkins. The four women trade strikes for a while until like-minds Seung and Jenkins slide out of the ring, being comforted by their respective managers.)
Lori Swick: Interesting start to the match here as the mindset of each athlete is shown from the start, but if you look at what’s in the ring now..there’s quite the match.
(Face to face are Lillie and YOKAI, who exchange ‘pleasantries’ before the MMA artist gets into a stance, going for a savate kick that Saint ducks under with ease. Lillie closes the distance looking for a swinging neckbreaker, but YOKAI spins out of the hold, grabbing at the arm of Saint who is having none of it and ends up clocking her opponent with a stiff right hand which takes her down.)
Leo Criss: Lillie is not playing around here, what a right hand!
(Saint goes to follow up, but is taken off guard with a charging 180 degree facebuster from Seung who begins raining down rights and lefts to the back of Lillie’s head. As YOKAI makes it back to her feet, she too feels the wrath of the cheap shot as Jenkins grabs at her hair and pulls her down into a modified backbreaker. Before she can go for the cover though, YOKAI wisely rolls out the ring to recoup.)
Dilan Valentine: Michelle Jenkins is making sure to show everyone out here that while she’s the lesser known of the four competing, she’s no pushover.
(Jenkins goes to blindside Seung who’s still on top of Saint, but the Busan Beauty catches her in the act which causes Michelle to step back, offering an alliance. Seung accepts, the two grabbing at Lillie to deliver a double back suplex to Saint who lands at a bit of a high angle on the canvas. Each woman goes to try for the cover at the same time, a smirk appearing across both their faces. However, before either can strike, YOKAI charges back in and nails them with a double front dropkick.)
Lori Swick: While many see YOKAI as a feared mixed martial artist, she’s really come into her own when it comes to professional wrestling, and having that speed to her, that wherewithal to make sure she’s there at each turn will only get better in time.
(With Seung and Michelle both having made their way back to the outside to recover, Queen Ghidorah looks less than amused, deciding to take a calculated risk, diving onto both women on the outside with a crossbody block. Park and Kim, as well as Baroni, surround the chaos, the referee warning them all to stay back. The three women begin to recover as neither side backs up just yet.)
Dilan Valentine: I get wanting to protect partners, but they really need to step back and let these women handle their business.
Lori Swick: Exactly, all four women are capable of handling things on their own and you don’t see Violet trying to get in Lillie’s bus..oh boy what is she doing?
(Up on the top rope we see Lillie Saint perched, a near cheesy grin on her face. Getting into position, the crowd in Anaheim look on, chanting in unison ‘TOUCHDOWN’ as Saint leaps off with a Trust Fall that takes everybody and their mother down, the crowd erupting even more upon her landing. Lillie gets to her feet, stepping away from the heap of bodies before walking over to a fan and taking a quick sip of their soda.)
Dilan Valentine: Lillie Saint is too good for this world, I’m telling you.
(Thanking the fan with a pat on the head, she grabs hold of the first opponent recovering which is Seung, tossing her into the ring and then sliding in herself. Seung stumbles to her feet, with Lillie grabbing onto her, and delivering a stiff back elbow to the side of her head. Saint is forced back by the official as Seung covers herself up.)
Lori Swick: Lillie with a rough looking elbow and Seung might be hurt.
(Lillie’s better nature has her go to check on her opponent, but the slithering snake cheap shots Saint with a throat thrust for her troubles. Setting up for her patented flipping neckbreaker, Seung is cut off with a kick to the gut that sends her back a bit. Lillie uses the space to charge at her, landing The Roundup to a huge ovation from the live crowd.)
Leo Criss: Lillie with The Roundup! Cover her genius!
(Lillie moves in for the cover, receiving a running penalty kick from Jenkins just as the referee slides in to make the count. Saint rolls towards the corner, holding her jaw. As Michelle tries to take advantage of the situation, YOKAI appears ready for a springboard attack. At the last second though, Reginald Baroni darts to that side of the ring, grabbing at the leg of YOKAI and yanking her down the thin mats at ringside.)
Dilan Valentine: Baroni with the huge assist, that is just ridiculous!
(The official catches Baroni pulling YOKAI and immediately banishes him from ringside, much to the annoyance of Jenkins who demands the referee reverse the decision. Slamming his fists against the apron, he storms off with Crazy Violet jokingly waving goodbye to him which serves to further infuriate the man.)
Leo Criss: Jeez, now even the crowd is getting in on ushering Reginald out of this match. That’s just terrible! The man deserves better!
(With Baroni now out of sight, Violet turns her attention back to the match which sees Lillie now firmly in control of Jenkins, having just landed a modified sidewinder suplex on the distracted woman. Violet herself gets clocked from behind, just seconds later. The culprits show themselves to be Kimberly and Alandra of The Inevitable.)
Dilan Valentine: Oh GOD, again?! Just go home already!
(Lillie notices the attack and wastes no time charging at the duo, diving onto them outside the ring. At least, she dives onto Alandra anyway as Kimberly pushes her in the line of fire. Saint is back to her feet quickly, going after Chase who bolts it towards the back. A recovered Crazy Violet also dashes after Kimberly with Alandra not too far behind, holding the back of her head in pain as she goes.)
Dilan Valentine: Lillie Saint with laser focus on getting back at The Inevitable, but there’s still a match going on!
(Back in the ring, Michelle is getting to her feet, but sliding in is a very imposing and pissed off warrior who is looking to Jenkins like she’s prey. Michelle turns around to see her and immediately goes for a right hand, only to have it caught. YOKAI spins her opponent around, delivering a reverse roundhouse kick she calls the Black Flash. Catching her opponent on the way down, she follows it up with the dreaded Package Piledriver, Jenkins clearly out at this point.)
Leo Criss: Michelle Jenkins is on another planet right now, this one’s over.
(YOKAI takes a moment to acknowledge the huge cheers from the fans in Anaheim before going for the cover. Before the official can make the count, Seung grabs YOKAI by the hair, viciously ramming her shoulder first into the turnbuckle, hooking the leg on the prone Michelle Jenkins herself as the referee gets into position.)
Referee: ONE! TWO! THREE!
(DING! DING! DING!!!)
Ring Announcer: HERE IS YOUR WINNER OF THE MATCH.. THE BUUUUUUUSSAAAAANN BEEEEEAAAAAUUUUUTTTTYYY SEEEEEEEEEEEEEUUUUUUNNNGG!!!!
(Holding her shoulder in pain, YOKAI, now on a knee in the ring, stares daggers at Seung who is celebrating in the center of the ring. The Busan Beauty mocks crying at Queen Ghidorah, before being joined by her managers Park and Kim who raise her arms in victory.)
Lori Swick: All the competitors in this match showed why they can be considered future world champions here in SWWS, but it was Seung who took advantage of YOKAI nailing the appropriately named Game Over on Michelle Jenkins.
Dilan Valentine: Very true there Lori, and now that you mention the future of SWWS, we have another thrilling announcement concerning where the company is headed very soon. We have a lot going on in the coming weeks. Some major contests will have Legacy Gauntlet implications as we’re on the road to September 23rd at Universal Studios.
Lori Swick: Everyone wants a shot at becoming the first World Champions of either Blitzkrieg or Paradigm. It’s really hard to predict who is going to be standing in the end.
Dilan Valentine: No doubt about it, but hey. We know what time it is right now, it is time for our main event of the evening. Let’s take it to the ring for the pre-match introductions.
(Ding! Ding! Ding!!)
Ring Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen. The following contest is our main event!!! It’s scheduled for one fall with a sixty minute time limit.
(‘Guile’s Theme’ hits the speakers as the lights dim down to a great ovation from the audience. SWWS’s favorite G.I. Joe steps through the curtain onto the stage. Johnny Sykes looks to be ready for the main event match in Anaheim! He stops at the top of the ramp, rolling his shoulders momentarily before acknowledging the crowd with a simple nod. It was time.)
Ring Announcer: Introducing first, fighting out of Tacoma, Washington. Weighing in at 235lbs. HE IS JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHNNNNNNNNNNNNNY SSSSSSSYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!
(Sykes takes the walk down the ramp to the ringside area. His mind is racing for it being his first main event he’s ever competed in. The proud Marine tags the hands of several fans, shouting to them for a moment. Noticing a child at ringside, Sykes crouches down towards the fan, removing his dog tag, handing it to the fan with a smile, asking for the child to hold onto the tag for his match tonight. The fan in the audience takes it, holding onto the tag as if his young life depended on it. Sykes smiles, giving the family a salute, leading to him running to the ring. Upon reaching the ring, he fires up the crowd with an intensity in his eyes.)
Dilan Valentine: Johnny Sykes is ready for tonight’s match. He looks to be in the best shape of his life!
Lori Swick: What a nice guy, seriously. He just came off a brief tour in Japan with other SWWS talent, competing against some of the best wrestlers overseas. He had a good showing, but tonight is really where the road really begins for him. It won’t be easy in the slightest.
(Sykes circles the ring, entering a back and forth pace while watching the ramp as his music fades out. The fans grow louder with anticipation, leading to the arena lights all shutting off around Sykes. Suddenly, a murder of crows are heard through the speakers, giving out their battle cry as it leads into ‘Hell Broke Loose’ to a huge ovation from the audience. A filtered white strobe light replaces the darkness around the arena as Matthew Knox stands on the top of the stage, facing the curtain with his arms spread out.)
Ring Announcer: And his opponent, fighting out of Baltimore, Maryland. Weighing in at 244lbs… HE IS THEEEEEEEE RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVEN…. MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTHEEEEEEEEEW KNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOXXXXX!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Knox slowly turns himself around as the audience grows louder. He peers around the arena prior to making his walk down the ramp. The intensity in the eyes of Knox are fixated on his opponent inside of the ring. Upon reaching the ring, he slowly slides in under the bottom rope, using the top rope to pull himself to his feet. Knox continues his walk around the ring, circling the fearless Sykes prior to walking towards the corner. His eyes are still locked on Sykes, sliding down a knee while leaning against the middle turnbuckle.)
Dilan Valentine: One of the most cerebral wrestlers to come to SWWS, it’s The Raven, Matthew Knox. He doesn’t care who is in front of him, in his opinion, the result will always be the same.
Leo Criss: He certainly hasn’t endeared himself to the rest of the roster with his attitude regarding the talent pool here. That can and will cost him later on.
Lori Swick: He’s been Champion in several companies, but he definitely has a point to prove here. Let’s see how he does.
(The music may have stopped, the lighting may be normal again, but the big fight feel is resonating through the fans in the Honda Center as the two continue staring each other down. Neither man has moved a muscle. The executives are watching this closely, even feeling that same intensity as the men inside of the ring.)
Main Event: Matthew Knox vs. Johnny Sykes
(DING DING DING!)
(Despite the bell ringing, the two continue staring at each other. The audience is reaching a fever pitch, chanting for each of them equally. Knox pulls himself up finally, slowly circling the ring while Sykes squares himself up. The two finally meet face to face, eye to eye. More calculating than his opponent, Knox slowly taps Sykes across the face, allowing Sykes to quickly take the Raven down to the mat!! A VICIOUS PUNCH COMES DOWN ON KNOX, WHO ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY. THE RING MAT SHAKES AS THE PUNCH NEARLY RIPS THROUGH THE CANVAS!! A HUGE REACTION FROM THE FANS IN ANAHEIM AS KNOX IS QUICK TO HIS FEET!!!)
Dilan Valentine: OH DAMN!
(Knox, sensing the fight has begun, charges in with a right hand to the face of Sykes. He completely ignores the punch, firing in one of his own! The two are now exchanging a series of right hands in the middle of the ring to the thunderous ovation!! Neither man has been able to get the advantage over each other as each strike lands harder and harder. Sykes swings high this time, but Knox manages to duck down, running Sykes into the corner with a series of shoulder thrusts into the chest. He throws in one too many though, allowing Sykes to apply a front facelock, ripping the Raven into the corner. A series of knee strikes to the shoulder and side of the neck finally gets the referee involved to break it up. A frustrated Johnny Sykes is forced back by the referee, but steps back in, just in time for Knox to drive in a stiff kick to the midsection of Sykes.)
Leo Criss: These two have zero interest in a scientific bout! Knox wasn’t expecting such a fight out of his opponent tonight.
(A hard forearm knocks Sykes back a few steps. Knox swoops in, looking for a double leg takedown, but Sykes stuffs it, landing on Knox as he throws in a series of hooks to each side of the body of The Raven, who attempts to regain the advantage. Sykes swoops around him, applying a bearhug from the side! Knox grips the hands of Sykes, trying to break the hold, but Sykes promptly pulls him to his feet, whipping him across the ring as Knox crashes to the canvas!!)
Johnny Sykes: Are you done?
(Knox stands himself up, stretching himself out for a moment with a smile on his face.)
Matthew Knox: We’ve just begun.
(This is music to the ears of Sykes, who bounces around a few times while he prepares himself for the next round. The two quickly go after each other, and the foretold Round two has begun!! They seem to be a little more defensive initially, but the right hands come flying in again. This time, Knox is able to get a bit of an advantage, hitting a few unanswered punches. Sykes finally steps in quickly with a left jab, followed by a right punch to the face of one of the toughest guys to enter the company. Knox throws in a strong knee lift to break up the momentum though, sending Sykes back a little to the ropes. Knox is preparing himself as Sykes charges in… A HUGE RUNNING BOOT TO THE HEAD OF JOHNNY SYKES!!!! A LITTLE DROP OF POISON CONNECTS ON THE RUNNING FOE!!! SYKES IS ON THE CANVAS, AND KNOX QUICKLY PULLS HIM UP, LOOKING FOR A FIREMAN’S CARRY. HE LIFTS SYKES ONTO HIS SHOULDERS, HE’S GOING FOR SOME RAZE AND RUIN…)
Dilan Valentine: These two men, I swear!
(Before he is able to get Sykes elevated off of his shoulders to connect with the knee to the face, Sykes CATCHES HIM IN A NECK CRANK!!! SYKES DROPS OFF OF KNOX.. DROPPING BACK WITH THE ELEVATED DDT THAT HE LIKES TO CALL THE LIVE GRENADE!!! KNOX BOUNCES OFF OF THE TOP OF HIS HEAD, SPRAWLING OUT ON THE MAT FROM THE IMPACT!!! SYKES LOOKS FOR THE COVER!!!)
Referee: ONE!! TW-!!!
(Knox is able to fire a shoulder up!! Sykes sits up for a moment, looking over at The Raven with a brief moment of respect. Upon seeing a slight smile on the face of Knox, however, Sykes quickly gives him a punch across the face! Some fans chuckle in the crowd from the frustration Sykes is having, who climbs to his feet with a sense of urgency. Pulling up Knox along with him, he throws in a knee lift, followed by a series of jabs and body shots to the Raven. KNOX MEETS HIM WITH A STIFF FOREARM, SENDING SYKES BACK A LITTLE BIT. A SECOND FOREARM KNOCKS SYKES LOOPY WITH THE IMPACT. SYKES FIRES BACK, MISSING KNOX BY A MERE INCH, ALLOWING KNOX TO HIT A SUPERKICK IN RETURN. SALIVA FLIES OUT OF THE MOUTH OF SYKES. A ROUNDHOUSE KICK FROM KNOX NEARLY GROUNDS JOHNNY SYKES..)
Dilan Valentine: Johnny Sykes looks to be out on his feet and Knox...KNOX HAS HIM LIFTED UP!!!
(Back on the shoulders go Johnny Sykes, allowing Knox to go for the Raze and Ruin for a second time. He pushes Sykes off of his shoulders and..THE LIGHTS GO OUT!!!)
Leo Criss: What in the world?
Dilan Valentine: The arena lights have cut out, we can’t see anything. Lori, any luck?
Lori Swick: No! I don’t see anything either.. I felt something run by us though..
(THE LIGHTS COME BACK ON.. FIVE MEN ARE STANDING IN THE RING!! ONE MAN IS SURROUNDED BY FOUR MASKED MEN… KNOX IS LOOKING AROUND, AND NOTICES THE FIVE STANDING IN FRONT OF HIM AND SYKES..)
Dilan Valentine: Who in the world? We saw people wearing those same masks earlier in the night..
(THE MASKED MEN GET THE NOD FROM THE MAN IN THE MIDDLE, AND BEGIN TO ATTACK JOHNNY SYKES!!! KNOX HAS NO IDEA WHAT’S GOING ON HERE. HE STEPS IN TO PULL ONE OF THE MASKED MEN OFF..
TWO MORE MEN SLIDE INTO THE RING WITHOUT MASKS ON..AND ATTACK MATTHEW KNOX FROM BEHIND!!!)
Lori Swick: BLOOD!!!
Dilan Valentine: WHAT??
Lori Swick: IT’S BLOOD!!! AOKI AND ENDO FROM KAZOKA!!! IS THAT WHAT THIS IS ABOUT???
Leo Criss: Who are these men?
Lori Swick: THEY ARE A THIRD GENERATION TAG TEAM.. BUT THEY AREN’T ON THE FORMAT AS PART OF THE TALENT EXCHANGE.. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE???
(AOKI AND ENDO WORK OVER KNOX WHILE THE OTHER MEN CONTINUE ATTACKING SYKES. THE UNMASKED MAN STANDS STILL, WATCHING THE EXECUTIVES OUTSIDE OF THE RING. THE REFEREE HAS STEPPED IN, AND IS PROMPTLY ATTACKED AS WELL!!!)
Dilan Valentine: Here comes security!!!
(SECURITY MAKES A RUN DOWN TO THE RING, ONLY TO BE THWARTED BY MORE MASKED MEN WHO ATTACK THEM!!!)
Leo Criss: DAMN IT! THERE GOES SECURITY!!
(THE MASKED MEN SHOVE SYKES TOWARDS ENDO, WHO LIFTS HIM UP FOR A GUTWRENCH, AOKI CHARGES THE ROPES BEHIND THEM, ALLOWING ENDO TO THROW HIM DOWN FOR A FACEPLANT, BUT NOT BEFORE AOKI DELIVERS A SPRINTING KNEE TO THE HEAD OF SYKES ON THE WAY DOWN!!)
Dilan Valentine: The Executives are stunned!! MORGAN IS ON HIS FEET, STARING DOWN THE UNMASKED MAN, AND PROMPTLY WAVES ON PEOPLE TO COME ON DOWN TO THE RING...HERE THEY COME!!
(BISON PAINE, REVOLUCHA, ANDRE BOONE, ISAIAH ANDREWS, MYOJIN, THE BACH BROTHERS, MITCHELL RYAN, AND THE IRON HEARTS MAKE A SPRINT TOWARDS THE RING. THEY OVERRUN THE MASKED MEN OUTSIDE OF THE RING. SEEING THE OPPORTUNITY FOR THE EXIT, THE UNMASKED MAN, AOKI, AND ENDO MAKE A QUICK EXIT FROM THE RING, STEPPING THROUGH THE CROWD WHILE SOME OF THE SWWS WARRIORS HIT THE RING. IT DOESN’T TAKE LONG FOR THEM TO CLEAR THE RING OF THE MASKED MEN.)
Leo Criss: Go get them!!!
Dilan Valentine: WHAT IS GOING ON HERE??
(Control seems to be restored for the moment. Morgan looks over at Akiko Igarashi from Paradigm, then back in the ring as only the SWWS members are standing, the masked invaders are outside of the ring.)
Leo Swick: There is a cold feeling here tonight in Anaheim.
(The show comes to a close with Matt Knox trying to exit the ring to go after the three men in the crowd, but is stopped by the rest of the roster. Morgan shouts into the ring at the Blitzkrieg and Gateway members.)
Banch Morgan: Don’t go after them...Yet.
(The lasting shot of the frustrated warriors watching the men escape through the crowd as we fade to black.)
